Answer:	It is 40 to 1. So 1 gallon cleaner to 40 gallons water.

Answer:	I have used it from room temperature to 180 degrees F - it will remove oily dirt faster and more thoroughly heated and will remove old fuel residue only when heated (I use it to clean carburetors and other aluminum engine parts). I have only used it mixed at the recommended 10% solution to water ratio and I only use distilled water. For simplicity, add 12 ounces of solution to 1 gallon for a 10% solution (this ratio is not chemically accurate, but is adequate for non critical mixtures)
Question:	Does it discolor aluminum? I see both yes and no answers
Answer:	I suppose it depends on the alloy and the water. I use distilled water to mix a 10% solution. I have cleaned carburetors (both aluminum and cast iron) and aluminum engine parts with steel in the castings. I have not noticed any discoloration from the solution, but I have seen discoloration of the aluminum parts exposed by cleaning. Some low quality aluminum has a high copper content and the copper may appear as a reddish stain when the alloy is cleaned, but I have not noticed actual discoloring of any of the aluminum that I have cleaned using this product.
