Answer:	Depends. They are fine for 12v connections assuming you use the right size for the wire/amps. They are not waterproof, so I would not use them under the hood or anywhere exposed to moisture.

Answer:	Depends on the oven also, I would use a stainless steel crimp on lug not copper or brass lugs for extream high heat ovens.

Answer:	Actually, Jared Lucey is NOT wrong. The question of whether to solder or not depends on the application (and possibly code/regulations depending on your industry). The logic is that, if the solder wicks up the copper strands inside the wire (which it often does) past the second stress relief crimp, the strands can not flex as they should and in an application subject to movement or vibration the conductor will eventually break inside the insulation causing an intermittent fault that may be VERY difficult to diagnose.

Answer:	No, They seem to just be there to cover up bare metal.
Question:	what is the advantages of the Insulating Sleeve not already being on the connector like most connectors
Answer:	The connector has two different crimping areas one to crimp on the wire and one to crimp on the wires insulation. The portion to crimp on the insulation is pointed and you can’t get to if the insulating sleeve was in place. Also as in my case I soldered the wire to the connector which you can’t do if the insulation is in place. That’s why I prefer this type of connector, but it also works great either way.

Answer:	I don't use anything special as long as the crimpers have the small dimple out. Use it to curl the terminal on itself and the terminal curls the wire. Answer:	I can’t answer that

Answer:	Yes. Made in China. I found the terminals difficult to separate. The terminals snap together with what looks like a tiny hook on the male and a hole on the female. Great if the connection is subject to vibration, not so good if you need to quickly disconnect. Which was my situation.
