Answer:	Thank you for reaching out. No, they don't. First you strip the wire and insert into splice barrel, then you crimp using the tool for heat shrink connectors, finally apply the heat, using the heat gun, while rotating the connector.

Answer:	Not sure exactly what you want to know. They do have a glue that went you heat to shrink the tube it melts and seals both ends. These tubs also stay slightly stiff after shrinking to provide extra strengh to the splice. I have used some shrink wrap tubes that are veey soft so the joint is ot protected from physical damage.

Answer:	...which electrical? Automotive ? 12 volt range? Go for it. ...home wiring? 120-240 volts? Should be safe enough, however one does not know what the dielectric strength of the heat shrink is. Back Muppet Labs and break out the test gear, Beeker! ..residential power lines/h.v. transmission lines? Really? Use the approved tools. Don't reinvent the wheel.

Answer:	I'd suggest just cutting the cord near where you are trying to repair, sliding the tube on one end of the cut, then splice the wires, slide the tube over the splice and the original damaged area, and shrink it.

Answer:	We went over it lightly with a long lighter to shrink it. a heat gun would work on high. Hair dryer doesn't get hot enough.

Answer:	Wow....good question. I think that the adhesive stuff would work better, as well as the higher shrink ratio.

Answer:	Yes they are that small. 01.0 and 02.0. Checking between these and a Commercial Electric 20-18AWG heat shrink tube the 01.0 and 02.0 are in between. The 01.0 tubes are perfect for 22AWG Arduino jumper wires.

Answer:	Yes, that is one of the main purposes of heat shrink. With 3 to1 shrinkage, it will collapse to around 1/6 of an inch diameter. So for a tight fit the wire it is going over, should be larger than 1/6".
Question:	Do you need a rhino labeler or will these fit and print in any Dymo that accepts D1 cartridges
Answer:	It did not for me. I purchase the 1/2 for a 2 AWG battery cable and it was just shy. Had to go for the 3/4.

Answer:	I use it to cover a metal rod to use as a mouth stick to use on my phone, a wooden stick will not work on a phone. As for how much heat it will stand I would think it would work well on the handles on a grill, Good luck.

Answer:	Kinda, it feels like a stiff rubber. Or if you heat it up and it’s still kinda warm, it’s still kinda mailable. But once fully cooled it has maybe 10-20% flex. It’s not rock hard. Also if you heat it up and make it into a shape, it will cure in that shape when cooled down. Hope this helps. But generally it is somewhat flexible.
Question:	is the diameter listed in this product inner or outer, shrunk or unshrunk
Answer:	In most spools there could be 100FT continuous, but sometimes there are splices. This is heat shrink, so its typically cut into smaller pieces to cover wire joints and color coding.

Answer:	Probably something smaller than 1/4 inch. You could try going to a hardware store and trying it out first before ordering online.

Answer:	If you are asking if this heat shrink will hold up to scraping on concrete under repeated abrasion from jump roping. It probably will not. Use a more durable product for your use.

Answer:	3/8" or 1/2" will work assuming your guitar patch cables are 1/4" outside diameter. If you have connectors/plugs on the end of the cables and you need to go over those plugs, you need to measure them as well to make sure the heat shrink can go over that size.

Question:	What does single length 1 4 7 inches mean
Answer:	Just use the cars TOUCHUP PAINT & CLEARCOAT all in one like DUPONT! (1/2 & 1/2, 2 sided applicator here on the zon or at any Autozone etc.) Fill the scrape with the paint, then again overnight after it dries/shrinks in. Top off with the clearcoat. Viola! (If ANY rust has developed, use a strong pointy object & place it over some black auto-finishing sandpaper & get it off first, or it WILL spread under the touchup paint! If you really love the car, get it done right by a good body shop for peanuts!)

Answer:	According to X-Treme Tape literature, it won't melt to 500-degrees Farenheit (+260-degrees Celsius, and remains flexible to -60 degrees Farenheit (-50 degrees Celsius), and insulates to 8000 Volts.
Question:	does the plastic divider case have a lid
Answer:	You'll want to pull to the point where the tape is about half the thickness of it's original width. Just like you would when using it for anything else. As the tape tries to return to it's normal size it forms one solid silicon blob. There is no sticky/chemical/mechanical bond to the pipe and water will find it's way out. This is great for temp fix but you should really do it the right way. Get PVC glue kit and a short length of pipe and do it right. It'll last for ever that way.
Question:	Is this thick enough to prevent my dang cat from chewing through it
Answer:	IMO these terms refer to the cross section, or width of the tape, triangular is tapered from edge to edge so the area overlap when wrapping has a constant thickness. rectangular will be double thickness where the overlap is.

Answer:	It depends on what type of pipe 1" galvanized and black iron pipe are 1" inside diameter so the OD is much larger
Question:	What is it’s shrink ratio? 2:1 or
Answer:	It kind of depends on what you are trying to do. This is rather large heat shrink at 1/2", it shrinks down to a bit less than 1/4" in my expereince. If it is just the outer case of wire and the inner wires are still insulated you might be able to slide this over the phono plug and up to the bare outer case area and shrink it there. You will want to use the smallest diameter shrink tube that will fit over the phono plug or other obstacles in the path to the repair area. As long as the repair area is 3x smaller or less than the shrink it should shrink down tight. Sometimes if it is a bit loose you can send a second layer to overlay the first layer of shrink to make it tighter.
