Answer:	I have one stuck on my industrial sewing machine and it works really well. I use a bonded nylon thread and also bonded poly. Works well with both.

Answer:	They are nippers, great at cutting threads and small notches. I don’t know how they would work on a rag quilt.

Answer:	sorry, they don't. They do have a plastic pouch to store them but the blades are always ready to go. They work great, btw...very sharp and accurate.

Answer:	Rather than scissors I might suggest using these blades, they cut like the proverbial hot knife through butter with very heavy belt-thickness leather. The company has two versions of their baldes, one for abrasive things like sheetrock and this one that I prefer which is for clean cutting things like leather and cardboard etc. : Tajima LCB-30RB Precision Craft Endura 3/8-Inch Razor Blades, 10-Pack. I use them in these: HAUTMEC Innovative Dual Use Mechanism Box Utility Cutter .... and I also very much like this: Gerber EAB Lite Pocket Knife 31-000345 with a different Tajima blade for it . I think for leather work these might be much better than scissors. I just used the HAUTMEC with the Tajima blade this afternoon on heavy belt-thickness vegetable tanned leather to make some stacked-and-glued-togehter leather polishing wheels for my bench grinder. I will use them with polishing compound to get that final edge when sharpening knives. It cut so easily, all the way through the thick leather with little effort. Didn't even need to go over the cut a second time to finish the cut. Just one effortless pass and it was done. Loved it.

Answer:	I apologize you are experiencing a power issue with your Brother SDX125. Here are steps that may help. Please verify the AC power cord is connected to the AC power jack, and also verify the AC power cord is plugged into an electrical outlet. If the problem continues verify you have powered on the machine using the on/off key located on the operation panel. If the machine still does not have power, do one of the following: - Connect the Brother machine to another, known-working outlet. - Verify the electrical outlet is working by plugging a known-working device-such as a lamp or radio-directly into the same outlet. If that device does not work, the problem is related to the outlet or circuit.You may also need to check for tripped circuit breaker.
