Answer:	Hello, It is 18.75 amps so you need a double 20 amp circuit at a minimum, however length of the wire (distance from breaker to heater) can make a difference. Consult an electrician and / or National electric code to determine.

Answer:	Their warranty is a joke, and they deny the bulk of warranty claims on these tanks. This tank has a defective design, it needs to have an anode rod added to it as described in my review, and unless you are willing to modify the tank like I describe in my review, you will be replacing the heating elements every 2-3 months. Westinghouse is simply trying to dump their existing inventory on unsuspecting customers. Shame on Westinghouse and Amazon!

Answer:	NO! The installation instructions forbid a shared exhaust with another appliance. This would also cause problems with the pressure safety switch and your machines performance will be unreliable.

Answer:	The amount of water any tankless unit can deliver depends on how much it has to heat up the water. Example: if you home's incoming water in winter is 60 degrees Fahrenheit, and you want hot water at 95 degrees, you can get 11 GPM. You will freeze if that's all the hotter your hot water is, however. If your incoming cold water is never less than 65 degrees, and you want hot water at 110 degrees, you can get 8.5 GPM. Personally, I like my hot water at about 125 degrees, and our water it never gets colder than about 65 degrees. This unit is rated to supply 5.5 GPM, or a bit more, with a 60 degree rise in water temperature (from 65 degrees to 125 degrees). You can only crank the burners down so far, so to be safe the unit needs to have at least 1/2 GPM flowing through it. If you ever use just a tiny bit of hot water, this might create issues for you. Normal washing and showering usage will always need at least half a gallon per minute.

Answer:	Hello- Sizing an electric tankless is very difficult. I always recommend that you call Rheem at 800-432-8373 to get a suggestion. I want to say this will only keep up with ONLY 1 source of hot water at any one given time. That being said, the RTEX-18 performance ( @240V )- 1.5GPM - 82degree rise 2.0GPM - 62degree rise 2.5GPM - 49degree rise 3.0GPM - 41degree rise So.... what it can keep up with all depends on: -the temp of water coming into the house -the flow rate of each faucet/shower head/washing machine/source of hot water -outlet temp desired I hope this helped :) Ben

Question:	Our heater is blinking a red light and won’t go off
Answer:	Mine too. The blinking red light means the heater is off; however, if it's annoying, you will have to unplug the unit. I finally plugged a little toggle switch outlet into the regular outlet, and switch it off that way if I won't be using it for awhile.
Question:	Is it supposed to turn itself off after a few minutes? Seems to run fine for 10 minutes and then shuts off even though there’s still power
