Answer:	Yes you are missing some parts, Mine had a bag of the rubber mounting feet and nuts and washers for mounting them to the brackets and mounting the unit to the feet. It also has lag bolts and plastic inserts for mounting the bracket assembly to the wall.

sanity check, is the 200 lb load rating per bracket or in total

I'm gonna say maybe 200lb per bracket . I would assume more would actually have to do with what/how you actually mount it. The bracket itself is very rigid/solid. I am using it in conjunction with a gas strut to raise a solid wood 6ft by 4ft high door on my outdoor bar. Not 100% sure of the door weight (well over 100lbs) it was hard to life with 2 people. Now it automatically goes up after a little one handed lift.
