Answer:	This hydraulic pump develops between 2500 and 2800 psi and how much weight that pressure can lift is determined by the diameter of the hydraulic cylinder and the angle that the cylinder is relative to the load. A scissor lift on a dump truck, for example, doesn't lift straight against the bed but lifts the load at an angle to accomplish a higher lift than the cylinder could produce by itself. I used one of these pumps on a 20' dump trailer that can carry 20,000 lbs or more but the dump trailer has two very large two stage hyd cylinders that are 4' to 5" in diameter. The larger the diameter of the cylinder the more you can lift. This pump could lift a 100 ton load if it was connected to a very large diameter hyd cylinder. For a one ton dump truck this pump delivers about the same lift as a PTO driven pump that runs off of the transmission.

Question:	How is this powered? Just an air compressor? or do you need another piece of equipment to power this to control the cylinder
Answer:	I think a year? You will have to check??? I have a large heavy M/C lift that is powered by this pump. It comes with NO fluid in its reservoir. I have gone through several in the past few years. Most of them have been pretty poor. Too expensive to repair. I hate to say anything good, for fear mine will take a dump. But, so far ( about a year now) it has worked the best. Good luck. If I had to buy another, it would be this same one. Robert TN actual owner of one!!!!

Question:	Will it work for car lift
Answer:	The orange bodied one I bought, 6+ months back, was suppose to have a 6 foot hose. But instead it had a short standard hose. I didn't measure it but it was about two foot long. The listing says; "【Pro Grade Quick Disconnect】-10,000 PSI pro grade quick disconnect coupling, 6 foot 10,000 PSI “JACK HOSE” with 20K bursting capacity". Six foot hose. Wow, I thought what a good deal. Contacted the seller and they said they were going to ask their supplier. Did hear back from them. Needless to say I returned it.
