Phase 1: Initial Market Research



At Cave Tools, we always start out with an extremely thorough market research. Before designing the pulled pork claws you see here, our product development team scoured through thousands of reviews on the then best bbq tools and accessories in the market. During this pulled pork shredder review process, we learn a ton of information about what actual customers love about their crock pot claws, what they hate about their meat handler forks, and most importantly, we’re able to spot opportunities in the market to add new features. Question: Has anyone tried this spice on a brisket smoked low and slow
Answer: This stuff will work on EVERYTHING and ANYTHING. And yes, I have used it on brisket but, not smoked low and slow, but rather oven baked slow and low. It can be a tiny bit overpowering so, first time, go lightly!!

Answer: If it has sugar it’s not much. It was way too salty for me. I didn’t taste sugar. Don’t buy it unless you want something like a seasoned salt.

Answer: This one has an amazing flavor profile, and does have sugar in it but since it is a little further down the ingredients list, not going to be especially sweet. Give it a try, if you really like things sweet, you can always mix in your own pure cane sugar.
Question: how many briskets would a 1 pound bag do
Answer: Would depend on the size and how much you apply to the meat, but at least 4, normally a 6 oz bag would season two to three.
Question: how long should i apply to the brisket before it hits the grill
Answer: You're going to receive as many answers as if you asked, "Fat side up or down on a pork butt". I inject regular beef broth in a cross-hatch pattern the night before the cook and cover it with plastic wrap (on a platter) and put it in the fridge. I liberally coat the brisket after I take it out of the fridge just before putting it on the smoker. I smoke at 225* until the internal temp hits 203 or until the temp probe goes in like butter. I then wrap in either foil or butcher paper and let it rest in a cooler with towels for a couple of hours. It's a great rub - you'll love it!
Question: Does this rub have MSG
Answer: This rub is 100% natural - no fillers - no MSG. I've been smoking brisket for 20 years, and this is by far the best brisket rub I've found.

Answer: It has 18 month date from manufature. What we have setting in our warehouse has 12-20 date on it. If you have purchased it recently you wouls be close to that.
Question: Does butch paper comes with this product
Answer: It is about 1 pound per ounce so this one will be good for twelve pounds. This is twelve pounds of trimmed meat. I used this on a 14 pound brisket that I trimmed about 2 pounds of fat off.
Question: Is this brown or pink butcher paper? Some reviews say it wasn’t pink and it is waxed
Answer: A little bit. But you want it a little salty. The best way I found to use it is to mix 1/4 cup of brisket injection to 1 cup of liquid beef bouillon.
