Answer:	The knobs I received are acrylic or a similar synthetic product - there are small "bubbles" in them and visible "seams" plus some of the seams and "facets" have rough edges that you would get when you pour acrylic into a mold. They are glued into the metal base and there are large globs of glue on the metal of 5 of the 10 knobs. I've been able to pick some of the glue off but not most of it and am afraid that in picking the glue off I may pick off the metal "finish". Fortunately I only need 5 knobs. I paid $8.18. I had unrealistically high hopes based on the great reviews but this is a case of you get what you pay for I'm afraid. From a distance they look nice and I will keep them.

How to Use:

1. Pre-drill, drill a well-sized hole first with tools, the following is drilling specification reference, when the material is high-hardness, please enlarge the hole.

1/4"-20x15mm, Suggest that the diameter of the hole is 9.6 +/- 0.2mm, the length is about 18mm;

1/4"-20x25mm, Suggest that the diameter of the hole is 9.6 +/- 0.2mm, the length is about 30mm;

3/8"-16x25mm, Suggest that the diameter of the hole is 14.3 +/- 0.3mm, the length is about 30mm;

2. Use the proper internal hex tool to screw in. Warm tips: You can use vise or clip to clamp the both sides while inserting the nuts to wooden board, which can effectively reduce cracking.

Question:	Bolt size

Question:	Is it high strength? What’s the tensile strength rating for this
Answer:	I don't know the actual tensile strength, but the nut is well made, no flexing and the female hex hole did not strip when tightening as hard as I could by hand.
Question:	What mm length should I use with a 1/4"- 20 x 1½” or 2” hanger bolt
Answer:	Your longest bolt (2") even when fully engaged would penetrate just short of 51 mm into the mounting surface. How thick is the surface to which you intend to mount the hanging hooks? I hope it is not drywall .These inserts are not designed for it. They just might pull out. If you can drill 51mm deep hole into the mounting surface a 15mm insert would be adequate. In order to prevent the insert coming out due to "wiggle" (multiple applications of load by hanging and taking off loads) one might want to use a longer insert. A 30mm insert should easily satisfy the need.
Question:	What is the size of the hex drive tool for the 1/4-20x
Answer:	I used 6mm hex key. Be careful if you use hex drive installing on hard wood the hex drive will crack the inserts. I just used a regular bolt with double nut and washer.
