Answer:	There have good thread so they wouldn’t crack any worse then any other high quality screws. For soft wood, it’s always a good idea to pre drill it.

Answer:	Not very close. #6 diameter is 0.138, #8 is 0.164 and #10 is 0.190 while m2 is 2 mm which is 0.079, m3 (3mm) is 0.118 and m4 is 0.157. So you can judge if it is close enough.

Answer:	If you are drilling directly into a stud you do not need to use the plug. The plug is for walls that will not support the weight of a shelf or heavy object with just a screw and need the plug to hold the screw in place. You need to use a drill bit to make the hole and screw the plug in if there is no stud to support the screw alone. Then the screw can go through the bracket into the plug.

Answer:	They are designed for and come with number 8 wood screws. The 6 drywall may be loose but would go in. Depends on your project.
Question:	Will these hold with a number 6 drywall screw
Answer:	Just run them in using a phillips screwdriver or a cordless drill/driver with phillips insert bit. A pilot hole makes starting them easier, and be careful to avoid studs. Be careful when running the supplied phillips screw into the anchor, they're a bit too big and can tear the plastic anchor loose from the drywall.

Answer:	I'm afraid they cannot be used in metal studs. These anchors come with strong ribs that help them to stay in a stable place on the drywalls. They can easily penetrate into thick or thin drywall and doors. Large anchor maximum bear weight: 50lbs and mini anchor maximum bear weight: 35lbs.
