Answer:	Don't buy these bits. They are inferior quality. Bits shatter. Never had a shattered bit before, dull yes for sure but never shattered.

Answer:	These are not masonry drill bits. I wouldn't recommend that. However DEWALT's DW5207 drill bits set would work.

Answer:	For drilling in metal, there are three types of twist drill that work. 1. High Speed steel- this works well, strong material, allows some flexing. Coupled with a Titanium Nitride coating, you will have great durability. 2. Cobalt Steel. This is stronger and more durable than high speed steel, plus it can handle more heat. 3. Carbide- A ceramic drill. This works best, but only if held very rigid. It is not flexible, will chip or shatter with vibration. I would not recommend black oxide twist drills as they are usually made from inferior carbon steel and have the wrong point angle. The point angle is the angle at the cutting point. Softer materials such as wood or plastic work with with an included point angle of 118 degrees, whereas drilling ferrous metal an included point angle of 135 degrees is preferably stronger.
Question:	Can I use them with Black & Decker LDX120C 20-Volt Drill
Answer:	yes anything with standard chuck should work if the chuck is 3/8 some larger bits might not fit!1/2 bits probably wont fit!

Answer:	Yes they can be used on both metal and wood, but depends on what kind of metal. The description says that they provide longer life when used with "non-ferrous" (non-magnetic) metals (such as aluminum). The bits would wear out fairly quickly if used on other types of metals.

Answer:	not polypropylene but close (see ASIN # B0032AM0LW) used a set of similar low end router bits, to round over edges, and to cut a dado - no problems with gumming, used a medium feed rate. The "chips" were micro thin slices of the plastic, no sign of burning.

DO NOT BUY A CHEAP ONE! It is important to install the extension in the router collar with care. Be sure there is no wobble due to a bent extension or router wear.

Answer:	I can’t tell you the temperature, but I can tell you that’s plenty warm on the first setting for me, and the battery lasts longer than I need for one treatment. I have a herniated disc that gets sore after skiing. I love the fact that I can walk around wearing it.

• If you're not sure, please start from the lowest RPM and pressure.

Stay Cool

• Friction between bit and metal will accumulate an amount of heat.
• It's necessary to use cooling liquid during drilling to keep the bit cool. Otherwise, the bit may fry(melt) or only last a short time.
• It's both ok to use lubricant oil and to pour water.

Right Drilling Device

• It's highly recommended that you use a drill press to drill thick metals. It's stable, powerful and (RPM) adjustable.
• If a drill press isn't available, electric drill or charging drill will do the job, too. However, it's more likely you'll meet problems unless you're really experienced.

Question:	How thick of mild steel can these stepper bits drill through
Answer:	Depending on the bit you are talking about, the step down is different. The skinny one has step downs measured in 1/16 steps and so does one other. The fat one steps down in 1/8 steps. If you look carefully at the pictures you may be able to read the increments or in some of the descriptions the steps are indicated. If you purchase the three bit set you will be able to drill any sized hole you should ever need. I used these on aluminum and other non ferrous materials that are fairly thin. If you are drilling in wood or getting ready to do a wood working project then you may want to reconsider and purchase individual drill bits.

Answer:	66820 is a set with Mechanics length bits with tri-flat sides. They are shorter lengths vs the longer 44170 Jobber length w/o the tri-flat sides. Tri-flat sides prevent the bits from slipping in a drill chuck. We have seen this preferred in some cases and not by others. Depends on the user and application.

Answer:	I would imagine you can, but I have not drilled into resin pieces with them.

Answer:	HSS Titanium with no number with it From China. Haven't used any yet to give you a rating. Probably good for one job then throwaway. Okay for the price

Answer:	I don't know the answer to that but I would try it. Go slow and use drilling oil.
Question:	Can it drill thru 3/16 thick cast alimum
Answer:	It should. I'm a mechanic and I've used these to drill out broken exhaust hardware and lug nuts. Key to making it easy and make them last long is not to drill too fast and use a lubricant such as a penetrating lubricant.
