Answer:	You can cut without a center pin. Center without it is a little problematic and the oil flow is not controlled so it is probably best to not use the internal oil and oil it by applying oil as you would with a twist drill.

Answer:	I dont believe the fit an R-8 collet. They are a 3/4" weldon shank. Round with a flat surface on one portion that either auto locks on a mag drill or is fixed in place with grub allen screws on an adapter.

Question:	Can these cxutters be used in a standard drill press
Answer:	We drilled 75 to 82 9/16" holes in 3/8" plate using Windex as our coolant with no problems what so ever. I have used oil for these before but if you want to not use oil the Windex with ammonia in it evaporates and cools very well. I have been doing that on stainless for years to eliminate oil residue for welding.

Answer:	I am not sure there will always be enough down pressure as is provided by a magnetic drill. The power of the magnet keeps the metal and cutter in contact with each other. The cutter is just that and with good cutting oil and a strong drill press it should work, slow will be the answer
