Question:	Will this material self-level
Answer:	This Plastic Bonder Body Panel Adhesive is self-leveling, for a few minutes anyhow after mixing. This stuff dries to a very glossy surface even if disturbed immediately after application, so touchups are sorta possible. It is a two-part urethane and cures to a quite hard, durable, tough, and fairly strong plastic. It is almost more a solidifying liquid plastic than it is a glue, though it does seem to stick to stuff well. I look forward to making some casted plastic parts with this stuff by utilizing silicone molds that I make from 3d printed patterns There are many casting resins out there but sometimes I want small parts and this convenient two-part urethane should be a quick and easy application.
Question:	Would this product work for gluing a plastic speaker cover back onto a rear plastic door panel
Answer:	It depends on the plastic. I have had great success repairing a couple of "automotive" parts. It will either work or it won't. Make sure the surfaces are clean and free of dirt and oil. It helps to "ruff up" the surrounding surfaces with sand paper especially if the plastic surface is smooth and shiny.
Question:	does is repair a very thin crack from the sun on dashboards
Answer:	If you can get the bond inside the crack, i think it would work. I used it to repair a broken stained glass shade and a hanging plastic bug zapper roof. The bond dries hard and holds very well. It is glossy so it may show a little.
Question:	is this product ok for a gas can seam that is bad. or will the gas eat it away
Answer:	I would buy a new gas can or get a bigger insurance policy.

Question:	Can this be used for the plastic hinge in a car console? Plastic on plastic
Answer:	I used this to repair the hood on my John Deer Lawn Tractor. I believe the material is ABS. After using the 3M Scotch Weld to stich the 12 individual pcs back together I used body compound on the outer surface sanded and repainted the broken hood. That was in October of 2020. The hood is holding up well. Be aware that I used Scotch weld and Baking soda. See -You tube regarding this method. The baking soda creates an instant strong bond. Wear the proper gloves.

Answer:	Yes, This glue will be effective in gluing pads onto sunglasses frames. If they are metal, you'd be best off scuffing the metal with sandpaper to ensure adhesion; for plastic this won't be a problem.

Answer:	I've used this to bond resin parts from Anvil Industry with plastic parts from GW, and for bonding resin to resin. No experience with Forge World resin though. So far, it has worked well enough with the resin, although not quite as well as it works with plastic. Main difference seems to be that it doesn't start setting up as quickly. The bond may not hold up as well over time either, but time will tell.

Answer:	I doubt it very seriously. There is no adhesive I know of that can fix such a tiny joint. Even some hypothetical micro-welding would probably not fix such a small problem. On the other hand, for slightly broader joints and fissures, I highly recommend this product.

Answer:	Yes, it will in my experience. It is possible that it depends on the specific type of plastic. The other thing is that since you need to shine the UV light to harden it, you can't put it in the middle of two pieces where there would be no exposure to the UV light. Sometimes I put a little glue on the inside and use Bondic on the outer seams to provide an even stronger bond.

Question:	How long do we shine the light on it
Answer:	Instructions say 3-4 sec. You need to rough up the surface and apply in layers, depending on the repair. More layers, more strength. I repaired a $25 pair of sunglasses where the temple snapped in half. That's not an easy repair. After roughing surfaces up, I first did a butt weld to hold it together. Then I went around the piece, layering the adhesive and overlapping the break an eigth inch or so all the way around, hardening each weld with the light. Eventually you make a band around the break. The adhesive is like very thick syrup but bot sticky. It hardens immediately with the UV light. Obviously if you grab it like a stick and try to snap it, it will! But my glasses fit tightly going on, and I have had no problems since I fixed them, which is all I expected. Afterall, they broke when they were whole and brand new! So I'm getting my money's worth and even epoxy glue didn't hold up when I tried that. Plus the Laser Bond is simple to use with no messy glue!

Answer:	I have used this to glue Teflon to itself, I think PE or PP shouldn't be a problem.
Question:	does this bond clear PET plastic
Answer:	Loctite's website says its designed for polyethylene plastics so I would give it a try. Other glues that seem to bond anything to anything are the various GOOP glues and E6000, which I prefer because it isn't so thick. GOOP and E6000 are basically the same type of glue (synthetic rubber based) with the latter being a little easier to work with, especially for small components. Both are made by the same company. But I would try the Loctite glue -- it makes a really strong bond. Be sure to follow the instructions EXACTLY and make sure you put a substantial amount of the activator (contained in the pen component) onto both surfaces and wait 20 seconds to dry before applying the glue component to one of the surfaces and putting the parts together. Hold the two parts together for at least 30 seconds to set/cure.
Question:	Anyone know what the activator is? Can I use the activator with other glues

Answer:	The difference is in what you want to bond. Epoxy is a 2 part glue that is mixed in equal parts, it will bond plastics such as ABS, PVC, nylon, and Acrylic which are "NON" waxy plastics. The loctite super glue plastics bonding system is a Cyanoacrylates type glue and can be use on plastics such as polypropylene , HDPE, PE, etc which are a "Waxy" type of plastics.

Question:	what type batterydoes it use...is it replacable
Answer:	Battery is not replaceable. Buy a new one.
Question:	will this hold up on a broken false tooth
Answer:	I really don't know for sure. I know it will set up pretty fast, but really does not cure real hard for at least 24 hours. I seen video were the set up and then sand or grind to shape the material to the desired shape. It is suppose to set up fast, but I found it cured really hard after about 12 hours. It might work for you, sure can't hurt, if it does not hold, you will have to remove all the excess by sanding or grinding. Also don't know what the saliva in your mouth will do to the clue over time. Might ask a dentist, what they would use.
Question:	Will it work on bath tub (outside) to hold a plastic moulding
Answer:	It worked for me inside a refrigerator for a shelf and for a tray. I would think it would work to hold plastic molding. Just remember, it is NOT glue. Unless the light can reach it, it will not set up. It must be in an area the light can "see".

Question:	Very disappointed the bottle was full but it would not dispense and cap wouldn’t come off without damaging the bottle. Is this normal
Answer:	You have to remove the red cap at the metal needle. And in case the glue doesn´t come out of the thin needle than you have fire the metal needle with a lighter for a shot time, the glue will be burn and the needle is open again. BUT only fire the metal needle, not the bottle !!!!! We haven´t heard of any other problem, for exmaple that the red cap can not be removed easily, and we sell that glue daily.

Answer:	I assume you’re asking if it can be used to fill seams. It can, and once hardened, it is sandable. But Super glues and putties are much more efficient for this purpose. This glue is best at gluing two pieces of plastic together, of which it does a great job.

Answer:	Yes you should be able to. The gel glue is absolutely awesome. Its quick to hold and stronger than the same.brand super glue by far. The cold temps shouldn't be an issue..

Answer:	Comes with a resealable cap, I opened mine at least two weeks ago and have still been able to use it (also used on multiple projects during those weeks). Just be careful to replace the cap in the same holes you removed it from or you will mix the two components and seal the lid.
Question:	Will it seal a PVC pipe that has a 1 inch slit? Must hold 75lbs of water press. Would put a rubber patch & 2 pipe clamps over it

Answer:	As an optician for over 30 years, sadly, nothing I've found short of a 2 part epoxy/resin will work...but only .temporarily. plus you'll probably get it everywhere including the lenses. I suggest visiting your local optician. I have tons of discontinued frames and can usually hand-edge the lenses if its a close fit . Question:	How do you open the package
Answer:	I was relieved to read several question/answer threads regarding opening this nearly impossible package. I ended up cutting horizontally along the label (front and back) and then cut slits on each side of the "bumpy areas" on the sides of the package. (These bump areas on the sides are why the package will not open.) Opened right up and can still use to top to close.
Question:	What is the shelf life for this glue
Answer:	About a year if unopened and kept in a cool place. 15 months if kept in the refrigerator, but let thaw before using.
Question:	Can someone elxplain the how many pack come in the bulk pricing
Answer:	There are 12 small individual tubes in 1 package. I used one tube to glue a number of things and then threw it away. I now have 11 unopened tubes left for other projects when they come up. I hope this helps.
Question:	How do you open the package
Answer:	This is so incredibly simple I'm surprised so many people can't figure it out. Resolved, as follows: I used a chain saw to cut an inch off the top of the plastic package, which worked perfectly. Then when I want to reclose the package I use one of the superglue tubes to put a thin line of glue around the edge of the top to reseal it. The glue works so well you'll need to use the chain saw whenever you want to open it again, so it's a good idea to keep one in your office. If you don't have a chain saw I recommend purchasing the Makita UC4051A 16" electric, which currently sells on Amazon for $235.99. I should tell you that I used a gas chain saw the first time but it sent unpleasant fumes throughout our floor and several colleagues knocked on my door wondering why there was a putrid odor emanating from beneath my door. So definitely get an electric chain saw if you don't want people bothering you. Good luck!
