Question:	Does this caulk have a glossy finish
Answer:	I wouldn't describe it as glossy... it's kind of the same finish that most caulk has. I wouldn't let that stop you buying it. This is the best caulk I've ever used. It's a little tricky to work with and you have to work fast because it's so tacky. Water just beads up on contact with it. It's definitely a waterproof seal. I'm buying more to do another job because I was so impressed. Hope this helps.
Question:	Will 1 tube seal around a standard size bathtub
Answer:	Thank you for your question. We recommend using the 10.1 oz tube for your tub to be sure you have enough. One 10.1 ounce tube is enough to caulk two bathtubs and one sink. The squeeze tube is only 2.8 oz..

Answer:	It should be enough, if you put a nice, unified layers all across the cracks. It depends how big the cracks are!! if is just for touch up it is plenty. But I would say 1 tube is enough for the job.
Question:	I'm unable to remove all of the old acrylic caulk no matter how hard I try. Will this product stick well enough over my old (acrylic) caulk
Answer:	To remove old caulk, I used a razor. Recommend ordering a razor holder found on Amazon. It's about 5" long, razor is screwed into place and it comes with extra blades. Much better than the plastic widget. Gently but firmly slide razor along top of old caulk, then repeat along the bottom of caulk to remove it. This was the easiest method for me. Ensure the surface is clean and free of debris. Spray and wipe with non ammonia window cleaner. Use gloved finger to smooth into sealant line. Best to watch a few videos if you aren't a pro. I watched a utube video.

Answer:	One thing to try is to fill your tub and when it's in the "pulls away" position then caulk. When the tub is emptied it will gently squeeze the caulk. When full the caulk will be in its fully sealed position.

Question:	Is it essential to completely remove old caulk before using it
Answer:	By using this product, you are attempting to seal out water from the underlying tile/shower floor base /tub or sink. It would work best by having the two surfaces prepared cleanly to get the best, tightest seal. Otherwise you might get water trapped under the caulk strip and then mold will grow. So yes, do it right and remove all the old caulk first.
Question:	can you put it over an existing thin caulk
Answer:	You shouldn't. Remove as much existing caulk as possible (I used a flat blade screwdriver). That way the new strip will adhere properly and have no ridges showing.
Question:	how does this product work on fiberglass tubs
Answer:	I don't know because we used it on a porcelain covered steel tub. However, the walls were a composite fiberglass sheeting and so far it is sticking to both very well. Even if it gives me 3 years its worth it -- for so little cost I would replace it in a minute. If you are going to install it, wash down the area with a liquid cleaner, then wipe it with alcohol. It needs to be absolutely clean for the product to stick.
