While this is definitely not the same situation you have, I have been impressed with it's ability to keep the split closed for the last 2 winters. Adhering to metal is harder than concrete (I would think), so I would have no concern about using it for that purpose. It is very black--so if that color is not a problem for your situation I'd use it.

Answer:	Yes comes in a one gal can or quarts and I think it will work good on a rubber roof. I know it works well on a metal roof and to masonry and stone so don't see why not for a rubber roof.

Answer:	You could use it in the attic. It does have a smell, so you need to make sure you attic has at least some ventilation (which you want anyway). The stuff in the paint can is rather liquid, and the tube is more tacky. However, you might just want to find where the leak starts outside and seal it there. If you seal it from the inside, it might not completely seal it and just make the water move somewhere else. Best of luck!

Question:	I have a hole in my metal door. I want to fill it and paint. Can I sand this and paint over it
Answer:	I used this as a filler between 2 metal pieces about 2 months ago. It is still rubbery and I don't expect it to ever get to a consistency that is "sand-able". SO my answer would be "no" to sanding it smooth. I have not tried it but I do think it would be paintable.
