Question:	Is it essential to completely remove old caulk before using it
Answer:	By using this product, you are attempting to seal out water from the underlying tile/shower floor base /tub or sink. It would work best by having the two surfaces prepared cleanly to get the best, tightest seal. Otherwise you might get water trapped under the caulk strip and then mold will grow. So yes, do it right and remove all the old caulk first.
Question:	can you put it over an existing thin caulk
Answer:	You shouldn't. Remove as much existing caulk as possible (I used a flat blade screwdriver). That way the new strip will adhere properly and have no ridges showing.
Question:	how does this product work on fiberglass tubs
Answer:	I don't know because we used it on a porcelain covered steel tub. However, the walls were a composite fiberglass sheeting and so far it is sticking to both very well. Even if it gives me 3 years its worth it -- for so little cost I would replace it in a minute. If you are going to install it, wash down the area with a liquid cleaner, then wipe it with alcohol. It needs to be absolutely clean for the product to stick.

Answer:	Yes, as others noted, it must fit the track dimensions. Another reviewer mentioned adhesive backing to peel off, but there is none; adhesive is in a roll, purchased separately, unless they changed their product, and that would be in the item description. As I noted in my original review, the strip came in a flat shipping bag, rolled up, which caused the upright flap to have a wavy ripple, which mostly disappeared after sitting out. However, I got four strips, and they all had a bit of a bias to the flaps in an irregular way, causing them to be more like a slight "J" than a "T", and not 100% consistent down the length. For a 60" length, they also shrank about 1/8th inch over several months time, in case that's relevant to your application. Also, the base that would go in the track is not nearly as soft as the flap part, which suits your use, but if the opening in the track is much bigger than 3/16", you may find it falling out, unless it's absolutely a perfect fit. That's about it.

It definitely dries to the correct color. Pretty sure it was siliconized....I remember it dried to to satin sheen. That was a bit of a problem for us because we were using it over a matte lacquer finish. yYou could see the difference

Answer:	The instructions say any latex paint. I don't think they mention any others but I've used oils, latex, waterborne just fine. I don't see why acrylic wouldn't work, after all they have acrylic latex caulks.

Question:	For a cut line appr. 3" deep, is it necessary to fill completely or can I just run a bead to fill top 1/2" or so. Will it collapse into void below
Answer:	Your best bet would be to fill the void with material first....ie, stone dust or something like it that will pack down. Your correct, your bead will collapse if you don't build up the crack first.
Question:	Can i put it after sealing the driveway for cracks
Answer:	Hi, yes you can, but for the best look, I would fill the cracks 1st and then use the coating, it makes the job look even better! Thanks!
Question:	How many LF does one tube fill
Answer:	When cutting the tube feeder to about 1/2" I was able to fill about 5-feet of 1/4 to 1/2 crack.
Question:	Will this product prevent weeds/grass growing in sidewalk/driveway “seams
Answer:	I used this two or three years ago. I first pulled any weeds or grass growing in the seam and I am sure I didn't get all of the roots. Then applied this product. Nothing has grown back, yet. If there are a lot of weeds or grass growing in the seam, maybe use a weed killer first.
