Question:	I have a glass tank and it just started to leak water (a leak I think) can I use this product to cover the leak from the bottom outside of the tank
Answer:	It is not like other silicone used in bathroom/shower installs. One specific difference is that those bathroom/shower silicones contain anti-microbial protection against mold & mildew. This is a food grade safe silicone, so those anti-microbial additives aren’t included in this formula. Also, it takes 72 hours to cure properly.
Question:	I'm interested in using this to repair a Chemex coffee maker. Crack is near the top. My concerns are about the heat and about food safety. Thoughts
Answer:	I used it to seal the outside of the heating element on my dishwasher... the flange wouldn’t make a complete seal around the outside, so it leaked water. Still working great after several months.

Answer:	I can't say that it will only because I have not tried it for that purpose. However, I used it to attach some large rocks inside a terra cotta bowl and the attached surface is underwater at most times. It has held for over a year in that application.

Answer:	Elastomerics remain somewhat flexible and do not dry hard. They will move with the substrate and are perfect for exterior applications.

Answer:	The product doesn't say anything about vinyl or plastic. I'd maybe check J and B Weld products.

Answer:	Sorry it took me so long to answer. White or just slightly off-white. Looks like regular white patch. It is a little harder to work with than regular patch, however the finish is very nice looking. Better than regular. After my experience using and finish this summer I will not go back to plain filler/patch material.

Answer:	Yes. Since it's flexible and still strong when dry, I used it to cover up cracks after our patio and pool deck settled. Then painted over when it was dry. It dries in what ever shape you apply it, so make sure it's smooth or however you want it because it will stay that way.

Answer:	It does not work exactly as glue. Bc it is silicon based it will wear down and break up over time. We used this product to seal the back window on our soft top convertible. The product does hold the window in place but it is not permanently stuck there. We do have to re seal it periodically.

Answer:	Very strong for all woods and good some porous plastics. Dries very hard and excellent for filling gaps. Dries dark and cannot be stained. Clean off excess while wet with a damp (not wet) cloth. as residue is very difficult to remove when dry. I use it mainly for when I need long open time assembly. Strongest wood glue I've ever used and is water proof to boot.

Question:	do you need a gun/tool to use this or can you just squeeze from the tube
Answer:	No. This is for the bead of caulk around your bathtub. It may also be at the edge of your counter where it meets the wall. You need a grout of some kind for the space in between tiles. Good luck!
