Answer:	Yes. I just used this when waterproofing a shower using Redguard. I first used mesh tape and mortar on all joints and corners ( inside and out). Then used Redguard on all surfaces, with the membrane fabric embedded in all joints and corners. The fabric folds easily around outside and inside corners.

Answer:	It has no tack or stickiness. When wetted with polyester resin or epoxy or even wood glue, it lays down. There are limitations to this because it still has a small amount of stiffness or springiness. For instance, it may not lay completely flat over a sharp outside corner. It may or may not conform and stay in place when used with silicone. You will need to figure out a technique to work the silicone. Perhaps a plastic putty knife. I would think the only purpose to use this is to reinforce the silicone.

Answer:	You cut the tape to length. Then apply to the area you want with your hands. To secure it, you saturate with an epoxy/resin mixture like West System (also available on Amazon). Once hardened, it become solid, hard, and durable. Painting is easy with Marine grade paint.

Answer:	It's a 6 ounce tape. But it is not Silane finished, meaning that it works poorly in combination with epoxy. Instead of becoming translucent when soaked with glue, the cloth stays white. It looks really bad and the glue supposedly does not adhere well. I need to try to sand off all the work that I did and start over again. Spend a few extra dollars and buy 6 ounce Silane finished tape.

Answer:	Yes, the tape can work on many objects. Of course, you may want to cover the tape with other decorative material to hide the tape, like ribbons....
Question:	What the tape melting point
Answer:	Melt??? I have no idea, but you bet it would hafta be hot.... however heat does not seem to lessen the sticking to where you put it on a box, if that's what you mean.
Question:	Which is better for bonding two pieces of plastic together this and glue or metal heated and melted into plastic
Answer:	I have no idea about the metal process. I use this filament tape for shipping packages.
Question:	Can it withstand a toddler
Answer:	If you are taping something shut and the toddler can not un tape it, they will not be able to break it. The filament will need scissors or a knife to cut through. We use it to strap two boxes together for shipping!
