Answer: I've had great results on my Ender 3. 250c nozzle, 100c bed and lower the fan speed a bit for better layer adhesion.

Answer: I took a 1 inch long piece of PRILINE carbon fiber PC filament and torched away the plastic to reveal the carbon fiber. Under magnification, the carbon fiber hairs could easily be seen, contained in burnt plastic remnants and sitting in the ashes. I estimated about %5-10 carbon fiber volume to plastic. The fibers were short, maybe .010" long; aka the dangerous kind to inhale and irritating to the skin. The risk comes typically when the material is sanded, saw cut, etc. I don't know what carbon fiber powder is, but the carbon does not appear to have been added as long linear fibers or tows, but as a short milled fiber resulting in isotropic reinforcement. I've printed several parts using this filament, and they print extremely well, and have good strength and stiffness, and a sexy matte black finish.

He was asking you if there were any filaments that you made or had for sale that is able to withstand up to 125*C Degrees Centigrade with intermittent high and lows between 100 to 125 degrees... So If you see this maybe re-adjust your answer to not look like you just picked out an answer from a hat and went with it. Now to actually answer your question with some common sense and actual knowledge unlike this so-called (Seller); If you look into some Polycarbonate or depending on what it is, some High Temp Nylon 6 or for really rigid or mechanical parts go for some Tulmans Alloy 910 Nylon Filament or some of the best stuff being that or CoTPE or the best of them all IMO is SainSmart CoPA with Pure strength, durability, and Heat deflection up to 180*C which is just cray cray!! Answer: You DO need to anneal (bake) to get better thermal resistance, but don't need to anneal the prints for better impact resistance than PLA or ABS. However, if you want to increase the impact resistance even further, annealing will double the impact strength.

Question: any advice for parts warping off the bed. I've tried several things. large prints suffer the most. Also what solvent should I use to make glue
Answer: Just want to comment on this since the other answer suggested BuildTak, and for anyone in the future who comes across this. Regular BuildTak sheets are essentially polycarbonate, which sticks extremely well to itself. This will result in damage to your BuildTak sheet in almost every situation, even with a FlexPlate system. Long story short, don't use BuildTak sheets with PC or you'll permanently damage the sheet. I would recommend PEI, a bed temp of 95-105c, enclosed build chamber, and just regular glue stick. Nice evenly coated thin layer without leaving gaps. Apply glue stick while plate is room temp. If you still have trouble, Magigoo makes a PC adhesive. I've found that their regular PLA/ABS/etc adhesive works fine too. Mostly you'll want to maintain a constant and higher chamber temperature with cooling fans turned off. Rapid temperature drops will cause warping and other issues. Some people print with rafts for PC, but if the bottom of the printed object is important to you to be even and level, I would avoid a raft. PC doesn't cut away cleanly, and you'll be left with very rough textured bottom that will almost certainly require some decent post processing effort (such as sanding with a sanding block). It's hardness is it's weakness when needing to use supports or rafts. If you need more surface area in contact with the plate, I'd suggest a single layer wide brim. That's much easier to remove and would really only require sanding/filing/smoothing on the edges where the brim contacts the object.

The closer to 80˚C the better to print large parts. >40˚C can already print relatively strong parts. Answer: Heated printing bed helps the print to stick better, we usually use 50 degrees.

Answer: I have not encountered this. I doubt the fiber length is much more than 15 micron.

Abrasive Material

Nylon prints will stick to blue painter's tape. Because Nylon adheres to cellulose surfaces poplar wood can be used as a bed. Nylon will also adhere to cardboard. Nylon also sticks extremely well to machinable garolite, but that may be hard to come by. Users have also said that using a glue stick on a glass bed works well. PVA glues (think of Elmer's white glue all) can also be diluted and applied on with a sponge head. Please use in a well ventilated area or in a closed ventilated system.

Answer: Most of the time it's ideal to keep your filament in a dry box when it's not in use as it will absorb moisture out of the air... there is no direct answer because how fast it become hard to use depends on the humidity where you are but you can always bake the filament if you find your starting to have moisture issues. I have used a lot of this filament and have never had an issue. To the point Geeetech filament is the only filament I use now and I have 5 printers with the 6th on the way

Answer: PETG filament can absorb moisture from the air. This causes stringing and some difficulty printing. It is recommended to keep PETG sealed in a container with desiccant to prevent this. That said, nylon is the most prone to absorbing water and pla is the least prone. In my experience, leaving PETG on the printer for a few days doesn’t affect it at all. When I remove the spool of PETG, I store it in a sealed container with desiccant.

The Gizmo Dorks Polycarbonate filament, also known as PC filament, is a strong thermoplastic material used in 3D printing. Polycarbonate has many uses in everyday applications. It is a good electrical insulator while having heat-resistant properties. Polycarbonate is used in data storage for compact discs, DVD's and Blu-Ray's. It is used in many medical applications as well as for parts in today's advanced phones. It is commonly used in eye protection, and it is used after lamination to make bullet-proof glass.

Polycarbonate filament is such a great 3D material because of it's strength. It is a really strong material while still maintaining temperature resistance. Polycarbonate does not shatter like plexiglass. It tends to bend and deform similar to hard rubber until it eventually breaks. It also has high optical clarity. PC absorbs a lot of moisture in the air. It is a hygroscopic material, and it is best to store in an airtight container when not in use. Even during use the material can become unprintable within a 24 hour print if in a humid environment. Therefore, keeping in an airtight container during printing as well is ideal. Dry filament will print more clear. Filament that has absorbed moisture will print white as well as pop and bubble during the print.

Extruding temperature is generally around 260C, depending on the printer. PC slowly softens when heated, unlike PLA which has a high transition temperature. Slower print speeds are preferred as an increase in temperature is required for faster prints. Polyimide tape (Kapton) should be used on a heated bed, ~120C. Some users prefer applying glue or superglue on a glass bed and then heating to ~120C-130C. Please do not inhale any fumes. Heated up superglue can release toxic fumes, so only use in a well ventilated area.

Answer: You would probably have a hard time printing with polycarbonate filament. Polycarbonate should be printed with at least 260 C but the filament likes to be printed closer to the 290 C range.
