Answer:	The one I bpught is 150 grit. 60 is available but too rough for lathe tools. 60 is more for rotary lawn mowers, dressing struck tools, etc.

Answer:	If you are serious about making knives, I would get heavier and mote powerful.

Answer:	2 holes at the bottom for bolts to secure to a bench. Place Bench Grinder on workbench, use holes as a template and mark with pen the 2 positions for the bolts. Remove Grinder, drill holes and secure with bolts, washers and nuts. Ten minutes.

Answer:	Nameplate says 120 volts 4.2 amps when multiplied, it equals 504 watts. One HP is equal to 746 watts by definition. If it was 100% efficient, which is not possible by the Laws of Physics, it would be 504 divided by 746 or .676 HP. Since most motors are only 90% efficient, that would be .676 times .9 = .608 HP. Question:	What could i use ro cut this in half? Would a hacksaw work
Answer:	This wheel does not have an arbor bushing. It goes directly on the arbor.

Answer:	Every turner has their preferences. I've been doing it for 12+ years. To me, 120 is a relatively fine grit, 80 is medium, and of course 60 to 40 is real coarse. I only use the 60 or coarser if I goof up the edge on a tool and it needs a little reshaping. Whether the wheel is rated as a wet wheel or not, I still spray the tool with water while sharpening. The less heat on the tool the better. Just like the slower the rpm you turn at the better it is for the tool edge.

Answer:	Diamond harder than this stone. It will not cut diamond. Clean diamond with Windex and brush.

Answer:	Dressing an abrasive grinding wheel is its only purpose. I would suppose it will dress a chainsaw sharpener depending on how small the space is. The dressing stick has to fit within the available space in order to contact the chainsaw sharpeners grinding wheel.

Answer:	Oh no, not to repair the wheel. Yes to dress it. I have a skate sharpener and I dress the stone after every few pairs of skates. Otherwise I don't get a perfect edge. Those hockey players are very fussy about their skates.

Answer:	The DW4910 has not been tested for this application. It is ideal for industrial type work on metal.

Answer:	Depending on what the bed liner is made of. It could easily destroy it.
Question:	Is this wire wheel considered a coarse or fine abrasive brush
Answer:	Possibly. It would require a good touch. If the overlay was softer or not married into the brush coat too much. I would do a test patch.
Question:	Whats the max rpm
Answer:	Yes. It will work on this grinder as it has a 5/8 spindle and its 3" diameter is less than the max 4/12". You'll have no problem.
