Question: Is there any dust "fallout" while using this product? The aluminum makes me a little nervous
Answer: It works well for creating a slot in something because it is round. If the burr is in slotted area of the foot, it may work ok, but it is hard to use on a flat surface. For a flat surface you might want to use some #400 or #1200 (finer) wet or dry sandpaper you get at the hardware store (or on Amazon?)

Answer: dust fallout is similar to any abrasive product, it depends on what you are sanding. wood will leave a fine powder and aluminum will load the cord and fill in faster than wood. soft metals will fill in the pores in the cord and will not last long but will do the job.
