Answer:	I bought the white church bird feeder and the opening was also small because it was located where the church steeple is on the roof. I made myself a funnel from a light weight paper plate and used packing tape so it would keep its funnel shape. I keep this homemade funnel in the feed container and pull it out when needed. It works perfect.

Answer:	I believe it’s plastic but yes you can yell into it since the hole is real but we never tried it so I’m not sure if it would be very loud.
