Answer:	Did you know that the suction can be adjusted? When I first started using it, I couldn't even hardly push it on my very dense carpet. Very dense deep pile carpet actually needs less suction. I adjusted the suction down to the lowest setting and it works great now. I still use high suction for our hardwood floors. I love this vacuum! It works great on all of our floor surfaces.

Answer:	The floor brush can be turned off by setting the on/off switch to the middle or #1 position. The handheld brush is operated by the airflow and cannot be turned off. Hope this answers your question.

Answer:	I have 4 dogs, 2 cats and 14 Guineas pigs. I would Bieber buy another vacuum cleaner after the fiasco we had last time. I had always used Shark but made the mistake of purchasing another vacuum that was on sale - BIG mistake. Shark is incredible. We have had it for 4 years and it is still going strong. And 2 of our dogs are long haired German shepherds. This machine is quiet enough where I can actually put the nozzle into my piggy cages to clean them - it picked up small amounts of hay and all of their poo. Super simple. We are getting another because we're so impressed with it.

Answer:	I have the standard brush. I might have gone with the premium brush if I had hardwood floors. The standard brush model has a three-way power switch which I believe the premium also has (Off, Suction Only, Suction with Brush). The Suction Only works really well on tile. The Dust-Away attachment is nice but I only have tile and not much of it so I frequently vacuum, suction only, and mop as needed.

We’ll show you how: Turn the power off. Hold the hand vacuum vertically and press the release button to release the dirt cup. Remove the filter by grabbing the tabs and pulling up from the dirt cup Empty dirt into a waste container After heavy usage, remove any pet hair or dirt and debris from the filter and hand wash under warm water. Wash and rinse the filter gently and leave it out to dry. Once dry, replace the filter and attach back into the dirt cup until it snaps into place You may now re-attach the dirt cup to the hand vacuum Your dirt cup and filter are now empty and clean. So yes, you can definately wash and reuse the filters.

Question:	Can this vacume handle very small amounts of moisture
Answer:	It depends on what you mean by moisture. If you mean a puddle of water, then no. If you mean some dry cat food that got water splashed on it by an overzealous drinker at the water bowl and is now the softness of sliced bread or some damp sand trekked in from outside, then yes - I've had no problems with either.
Question:	how does this vacuum do on a high pile rug
Answer:	The suction is so strong & vacuum so heavy I can’t even push it on high pile, only low pile & hardwood.
Question:	How often does the washable filter need to be cleaned and the paper one be tapped outside and ultimately replaced
Answer:	It mentions cleaned weekly for best performance and changed after 4-6 months
Question:	So many bissell pet vacs to choose from, how did you decide which one to buy
Answer:	I have two GSD's, aka German Shedders, they shed a new dog weekly, we get so much pet hair i burned up two "regular" vacuums, i started reading about Vacuums that were good for pet hair, this one was getting good reviews and i took a chance on it. so far its been working as advertised,
