Answer:	Actually yes it does, but you'll have to adjust the tool angle on the stick to 90 degrees right or left (actually remount it 90 degrees from center where you normally vacuum upright) - meaning the head will lay flat relative to the body of the vacuum. Old trick from prior vacuums that do not have a swivel head so I can vacuum under the bed.

Plus, I live in the country with dirt roads, so dust, grit and dog hair is a daily occurrence. I also have parrots, so vacuum cleaners come to my house to die.
