Answer:	It does not have not have a Hepa filter, but I have not had allergy attacks using it. As long as the canister is not to full, it has a very powerful suck and cleans carpet better then my old Kirby. Vacuuming up any amount of longer hair will grab dirt and wrap around the filter plugging it, you will notice when the suck is not as good. But most of it removes with it's self cleaning sliding ring filter/cleaner. You might have to reach up and pull down on some hair from inside the canister at times to get it all out though.

Answer:	Hi, I do not own a parrot or any other bird for that matter, but, to answer your question, this dyson model is fantastic in picking up just about "anything". I use different attachments, depending on the type of floor your cleaning. The dyson canister has no problem picking up all of the above items you mentioned and then some. I have a house cleaning business and using this vacuum has picked up MANY items including pens/pencils, scarves/socks, small toys parts, coins, etc. The suction is very powerful. Hope this answered your question!
Question:	How difficult is the maintence, cleaning filters, etc? There seem to be a lot of "do nots" in the manual
Answer:	I'm also 6' tall. I haven't measured the wand, but it extends plenty long for me to be able to stand upright while I vacuum.

Answer:	This product has the best tools and features I've ever seen. The extension tube has a telescoping feature and a handle at the top. There are several lengths that you can easily switch to. The hose and tube have a new way to connect just like the cleaning heads. There is a fabric head for clothing or curtains. There are two heads that have rotating brushes, one large and one smaller, that get fuzz and hair like nobodies business. The top of the tube has a suction release in case you vacuum something you didn't mean to. There is a crevice tool much like any other vacuum, but, this one has a slide up or down brush that is quick and clicks into place. The crevice tool and the fabric head attach to the main tube so you don't have to go get it in the middle of work. The tube can be completely removed and the heads hook right to the hose. So nice for cleaning the stairs, couch or other upholstery. The wheels let you roll it in any direction super easy without it tipping over or having to go back and carry it to where you want to go. There is a button you push and the cord rolls up into the belly. There is a internal filter that filters the air, that pops out and you can clean it in the sink, squeeze it out, let it dry for 24 hours and pop it back in. Press a button and the canister comes off and when you hold it over the trash can you press another button and the bottom opens and all the dirt falls into the trash. I use a damp rag to wipe the dust off the gaskets to maintain the powerful suction. The whole thing is so light that I don't hurt my back when I use it. There are a few other nice features that I haven't mentioned. Can you tell I love this machine. It's even pretty. The price was scary at first, because I had been fooled before, but, when this beauty got here packed sooo very well and I used it on my filthy, dog hair covered velvet couch, I was sold. I have terrible allergies (even to my two dogs and cat) and this product gets the tinniest dust particles and the hair. It has worked really well on anything I use it on, it even gets the cat hair off the curtains! My home is so much cleaner.

Answer:	It has one head with beater brushes to use on both carpet and hard surface. I use it on both. There are other attachments but they dont spin. This is a great vac.

Answer:	The model I purchased seems NOT to have a "power nozzle" ( I had to Google that term ) but I wasn't looking for that feature. I don't know if more expensive Miele vacuums come with them--the $399.00 models. Question:	Can I get the most specific estimate on how long it will run for before battery dies
Answer:	I run the hand-held vacuum for short intervals. I clean and recharge the vacuum after three or four 10 to 15 minute jobs.
Question:	How to remove filter
Answer:	There are two little clips on the side of the unit that you just lightly press on and you’ll hear them click open and then the piece holding the filter comes out. It doesn’t always fall out easily because it has a rubber gasket to hold it in place but if you just move it easily it will come out and you can clean it and put everything back very easily. Don’t forget to re-click the locks when you put it back or the side clips and hear them click in to lock it in place.
Question:	does the vacuum have a charge indicator
Answer:	The vacuum itself does not have an indicator. It goes full speed and then it simply dies. The battery charger does have an indicator showing little lights that increase as the power recharges and then it goes dark so that you know it’s fully charged. I hope that helps. I would get a back up battery so that you can trade them off.
Question:	do you have the replacement filters for the Hoover BH57005 handheld vac
Answer:	No. I have four of these vacs. Cannot find replacement filters anywhere on earth. They’re all a year old, get light use, filters are already showing wear. Unless Hoover steps up their game here, I’ll have to cut some from similar material from hardware store. Shame on somebody at Hoover.
