I have not had any issues with any of my flooring in fact I'm pretty sure my carpets are cleaner since I started using my Miele. The best thing is that it will automatically turn off the roller brush on it's own when I'm moving from room to room and you have 5 levels to choose from level 1 being hardwood flooring and as high as level 5 for deep pile carpeting. The suction is outstanding and I love that when I change the bag it's completely sealed so nothing in the bag comes out. I highly recommend this specific Miele Vacuum. |

The C3 Marin has the typical 7/7/1 warranty offered by Miele. 7 years on the motor, 7 years on the casing, 1 year on hose, wand and power nozzle. The C3 Brilliant on the other hand, has a 10/10/5 warranty. The most significant difference being the additional 4 years on the hose, wand and power nozzle. With the hose, wand and power nozzle being the most manipulated parts of any canister vacuum, I would argue that that alone may be worth the price difference. | Answer: | This is a Miele product and should come with whatever their normal warranties are. Check their website for more information. I manage the property where I live, our housekeepers have used our last Miele for maybe 19-20 years, before that the building owner had it for untold many years, (the one we had wasn't even a commercial model). I only had to repair twice, both were for human error. You can never go wrong with a quality vacuum that you can have for many decades. |

| Answer: | Both the Cat and Dog and the Marin would be great vacuums for your situation. The C3 Marin is the most popular Miele canister vacuum we offer in our vacuum store. While the Cat and Dog does come with the STB101 and Activated Carbon filter, the Marin has the auto setting and SEB236, which I prefer for wall to wall carpeting, and includes the HEPA filter. If I were spending my money in your situation, I would purchase the Marin, and add on the STB101. Both however are great vacuums! |
