Question:	How do you know if your DC35 is a type "B" or not
Answer:	Do you have to push a button or use a screwdriver to loosen the battery? Type "B" has a tab with a hole on the very top (opposite of contacts). Type A? aka normal battery is the one in the picture. It has no screw tab but a groove instead (for the push button mechanism). Sry Late to the party, but hopefully will help if someone else has the same question.

If you suspect that the limiting circuits are not working correctly, the vacuum and /or the battery should be discarded. Do not take a chance on a battery fire in your home. Any Li-ion battery can burn if it is not protected from overheating.

Question:	I installed this new replacement battery, plugged in the original charger and the indication lights on the battery blinked red. What's the reason
Answer:	I used this battery as a replacement on my V6 but had no problems, it worked perfectly the first time and after it was properly charged. I can only guess that the battery is incompatible with your vacuum for some reason, but I also don't know what model yours is being installed on. I'd re-check the voltage listed on the battery and compare it with the voltage on your old battery......mine was 21.6 V on both. ......and maybe you just have a bad battery.

Answer:	I am not sure what you are asking. It is a battery so when fully charged it has a green light on it to indicate a full charge. If the light is red it means the battery needs to be charged before using.
Question:	Is it ok to leave plugged in between vacuuming? The green light is new to me
Answer:	I ALWAYS leave mine plugged in so it's ready to go when I need it. I've never seen a statement stating it should be unplugged or that leaving it plugged in for extended period of time would cause damage.
