Answer:	Yes, suction power will be reduced, minimally though. Miele tests their machines using their bags. 3M uses different polyester material to manufacturer their bags, and it's not optimized for miele machines.

Answer:	The Hepa filter is a separate part from the dust bag. The link below will show you what one looks like. This may or maynot be the correct Hepa filter for your model vacuum cleaner. There are two filters that come in the box with the dust bags.One is a motor filter to keep dust from getting into the motor and damaging it. The other filter is a clean air filter that goesin the same compartment as a Hepa filter. You use either the thin clean air filter or the Hepa filter, but not both at the same time. It's one or the other. The clean air filter comes free with the dust bags. If you want a Hepa filter you have to purchaseit separately and put it in the compartment that you will remove the thin clean air filter from. Answer:	The one that says air clean on it is the exhaust filter. Below are links to YouTube videos showing filter change. One mistake on the first video. The narrator says it is a hepa filter.It is not the hepa filter. It is just an air clean filter that comes in the box with the dust bags. You have to buy the hepa filters separately if you want to use them. The hepa filter or the air clean filter, it's your choice which one you want to use. It's one or the other, but not both at the same time. If you are going to use a hepa filter it goes in the same place as the air clean filter. You have to remove the plastic grill that holds the air clean filter in place and then just snap in the hepa filter. The third YouTube video shows a hepa filter change. I believe you can still buy this but not at the price I got it at.
