| Answer: | I don't know your situation so I can't comment on whether you need to buy additional tools. My Dyson V6 Animal came with the large direct drive cleaner head pictured, a smaller direct drive head, a crevice too, a soft brush tool and a hard brush tool. The large direct drive tool works great on carpets and ceramic tile floors. It really picks up the dog hair and dirt. I recently bought the Dyson Articulating Hard Floor Tool for the wood floors.
