Question:	How do I install a new pump
Answer:	It was actually very easy. Only a few screws and a belt. I think there were 4 screws. Put the belt on first and the screw the pump in. Hope it helps.

Answer:	i checked the model # on searspartsdirect.com, and the pump part listed as the correct one is 2107181. i think most of the bissell steam cleaners of similar design all use that same pump. hope you are able to get yours fixed.

Question:	Is the carpet supposed to be completely clean when the water is completely clear
Answer:	If you are sucking up clear water, yes the area you are cleaning should be clean. However I let mine dry, pretreated it again and went back over it to make sure and the penetrate deeper. It seemed to work. My carpet had an older set in pet stain that I didn't find right away.
Question:	does it pick up pet urine
Answer:	You need an enzyme cleaner to completely break down pet urine. Especially for cats. If you don’t remove all of the urine, it will eventually start to smell again and could cause the pet to pee there in the future.
Question:	what is the total weight and motor capacity
Answer:	The thing weighs about 12 pounds. I don't know what you mean by motor capacity, but if you go over the same area too many times it'll pull the carpet fibers up. My office was a mess. I had Stanley steamer come in a year or so ago and they did an okay job. This thing was 99 bucks and in 20 minutes did a fantastic job. I have white carpets that were gray and now their white again.
Question:	does it come with the carpet shampoo
Answer:	While it comes with a smaller bottle (for one use), I ended up buying an oxy product specifically for pet urine and reshampooed the carpet. After drying, is now smells fresh.

Answer:	I don't know if they use the same belt got to the Bissell web site and check. I was disappointed with this set because the notched belt was way more narrow then the original so far it still works but it will definitely not last as long

Answer:	There’s no reason why you can’t increase the PSI, just make sure the mounting bolts line up, sometimes the in and out water lines will be inverted on the new pump, but that’s an easy fix, make sure your voltage is correct, (120 or 230)

Answer:	It’s a on demand pump if the specs work for your application then yes

Answer:	Yes it does. However there are 2 belts is one and a second one. This one runs from the shaft of the motor too the pump. This one is long compared to the second. The second runs from the pump to the brushes. As long as the brushes dont move and the pump dont work but the motor still runs it is this one. But if the motor and brushes work then your pump is bad.

Answer:	There is only one pump belt. The pump belt is smooth as in the picture. The other two belts are for the brush rotation and they're smaller and serrated.

Answer:	Not sure. Try looking on the bissell web site under product support and put in your the belt number and it should tell you or link to all models that use it. Another way to look it up is enter your model number and it will pull up all parts associated with that model.
