Answer:	Regretfully no. The Bandit-Band relies on the strong sturdy handles of the plastic trash cans to hook into. Answer:	No, the lid connects to the container in the back. The lid is assembled by Rubbermaid. It would be removable if you disassembled it, but that would take a while.

Answer:	Agree, as long as the top is closed and wind doesn't blow it open (which has never happened to us), the container is weatherproof. It's very similar to the big trash cans provided by refuse services.

Answer:	It is removable. It has two screws on either side of the lid. I don't think it can just pop off and though. The lid does flip all the way back to hang upside down and flush with the back of the container.

Answer:	Well i can not say for sure if this trash can is rat proof or not. I will say that this can is great and very heavy duty, as our trash guys are everything bit gentle. I suppose if you put something heavy on top of the attached lid to hold it down it would be very hard for something like a rat to get in the can. Answer:	If a 10 gallon will hold 50 lbs., that is 5 lbs. per gallon. So a 6 gallon should hold about 30 lbs.

Answer:	Coincidentally, I ordered both at the same time. The 6 gallon is definitely the way to go for your needs. I really don’t think you want 10 gallons of poo in a can. Plus, if that all your using it for, you can use inexpensive trash can liners or plastic grocery bags.
