Answer:	My husband and I push down very hard and easily crush boxes and plastic bottles. I wouldn't stand on it because it has a frame that might not hold that much weight. But if you are putting plastic bottles, boxes without lids etc you will be amazed how much you will fit in there just using your arm to crush. It's awesome for recycling!

Answer:	There have been no problems with bags ripping. The lid pops out for easy cleaning as that is the only part that touches the trash directly. Has been a real money and time saver on use of bags and trips to the outside garbage pail.

Answer:	Tall kitchen can bags...usually they are white. The best quality you can afford so they are really strong when you compact and push the trash down.

Answer:	768 mbps and 768MB/s are very different things. Not going into 1000 vs 1024 differences, but b stands for bits and B stands for Bytes. A Byte is 8 bits, so 768 MB/s is actually 6144 Mbps. Most people advertise in mbps because it's a larger number than MB/s, but just remember 1 Byte = 9 bits. (Also, if you're interested in the 1000 vs 1024 thing, look into Mega vs Mibi. It's a difference between decimal numbers and binary numbers.)
