Question:	Is it hard to put together or take apart
Answer:	Very easy to do both. All you need to take it apart would be to pull off the shelves one by one. I would suggest upside down after removing the top shelf. Then hit lightly with a hammer or mallet from below each shelf to loosen it from the plastic two parts that hold each side of the shelves. Once they are loose they will come apart. When putting it together, the number one thing is to pay attention to the plastic parts because they all say, this side up. You put the side down, you will never get it together. FYI when you unpack the parts a bunch of round black plastic pieces (that look like junk) will fall of, those are ONLY for protecting the posts when shipping so when putting together make sure they are not inside the posts or you will not be able to put it together. The actual parts come in a large bag full of smaller bags, each one is for putting together one shelf. The instructions mention it, but some people are commenting that they are broken pieces because they can't read. lol I'm 70 and I have put together 9, my most recent today. I'm sure you can also. They are sturdy and my older ones have been in use for a decade.

Question:	Is it possible to turn the shelves around so that the edges of the shelves have a lip
Answer:	People are saying yes, but it is designed for the shelves to have a "top" and a "bottom" so no, you cannot turn the shelves upside down. The weight of the shelve pushes down on the taper, creating a tighter "bind" with the leg. That's the design.
Question:	What is the diameter of the posts
Answer:	I don't know what diameter the other sizes are, but the 30" three tier shelf is only 3/4" diameter. I went off the previous answer when I bought three of these. Boy was I fooled when I received 3/4" poles. Smh!

Answer:	No.The appropriate fasteners depends on the wall material. If you are using these on a drywall interior wall, you need to mount them to the wall studs. You will need to locate the studs with a stud finder, then use pan head screws (semi rounded on top), #10, and a minimum of 2" length. I prefer #12, with 2-1/2" length. Remember, between the rail and the drywall, about an inch of the screw's length is "wasted" before it enters the stud.Drill pilot holes into the stud before screwing in the pan head Phillips screws.If you try mounting these rails to just the drywall with anchor type screws, don't put anything much heavier than pillows and bubble wrap on the shelves.
Question:	Is this for up to 4ft? Or do you need to have at least 4ft of space for it to work
Answer:	No. You do not. Just make sure you are installing the bars parallel and level to one another. The bar may make it easier to install because you juat install bar level and the standards will attach and already be level

Question:	Do i need a closet to install this? I wanted to just mount it on my wall and i dont have a closet
Answer:	I don't see why you would need a closet. There is nothing that holds the system up that requires the adjacent walls. The brackets mount flat against the back wall of the closet and the bars hook on, they don't touch the side walls. Cool idea, though.
Question:	Can I put this on 2 separate walls
Answer:	How long is that main rail? I only have 48" of space on the wall.
Question:	The photo for the 4-8' deluxe titanium shows three hang rods but many images and the description only show 2. Did everyone only get
Answer:	You get 2 5 feet and 2 4 feet hang rods so if you use 2 8 feet rods you will only be able to use 2 , however if you use 1 8 feet and 2 4 feet you will have 3 hang rods!
Question:	How deep does the closet need to be to use this system? My closet is long and tall approximately 84 x 96 but is only 24.5 deep. I am worried the shelves may not work out
Answer:	yes your closet is deep enough for the rubbermaid system as 24 inches is pretty standard. The rubbermaid shelving is only 13 inches deep. I am really pleased with mine and have them in all of our closets now. You can adjust them quite a bit to fit your needs.

Question:	Does this come with hardware to secure to a wall
Answer:	No. It does not come with the hardware. We did have ours secured to the wall by a handyman, though. It's a good idea.
Question:	Can shelves be flipped over, creating a lip that prevents things from sliding over the edge
Answer:	No way. The fluted side of the holes in the shelves must slide over the retaining clips to hold the shelf securely in place
Question:	How easy it to to take apart and put back together
Answer:	Depends on what you call 'easy'. The worst is getting the end cappies on and the pole bottoms, and that's not bad. Best when disassembling to put it on the side or back and whap the shelves 'up' going around the shelf, near the poles, to loosen them and get them to come off. Start from the formerly top shelf and work to the bottom, pull the poles out of the last shelf as they come loose. Assembling again lay one shelf on edge on long side, and thread all four poles through, setting the height where they should be, then lift the whole thing up and seat the bottom shelf, then work up. It will be sturdiest with the bottom shelf down about as far as it can go, and the top shelf about as high up as you can get it.
Question:	Can you stack this unit? I need more storage but only have room for the 24" wide
Answer:	This unit can not be stacked.

Question:	once the shelves have been Put in place can they be readjusted
Answer:	Yes. They can be easily adjusted. Tap the shelf corners upward and shelf will come loose. Readjust the two half clam shells on each corner to new height position. Then tap the shelf down.
Question:	How much space is between the shelves
Answer:	You can set them at any Heights U Want you can have them three inches apart are you going to have them 24 inches apart the inserts that go with holding the Shelf up it's how you said it they put together and then you slide the shelving unit on down the pole I've got some mind set at 13 inches holding poly containers and some I've got set at 34 inches
Question:	Is the size of the poles compatible to others like U-Line? We want to get additional shelves
Answer:	I don't know What a U-Line is . But the shelves I bought holed a heavy load. I really like the rack. If you give me the measurements I will measure mine.

Answer:	Yes you can...just be sure to use the opaque shelf pads that comes with this unit so the foot pads of the fridge don't go through the slots on the shelves.
Question:	Is the assembled width exactly 21 inches? (ideally, i'm needing less than 21" wide so this might be pushing it close to fit in the kitchen pantry
Answer:	It is designed to be however many tiers you want/need up to 6. You can build to six tiers, depending on shelf heights you choose or you can build two separate shelves up to 3 tiers, again depending on the shelf heights you choose. I love the options you have with these sturdy shelves. All shelves look the same but there are small end caps to use if you choose two free standing shelf units; for one shelving unit, use the connectors you’ve been using and keep building. Note: If you adjust for more height between all shelves to accommodate your needs, you may not use all of the shelves. The space between shelves is the first thing you need to decide before you put it together but you can adjust at any time without items on the shelves. Just know that if you need to adjust height, you have to unbuild to that shelf. Not a big deal if nothing on the shelves but best to measure height of storage items and make a plan first!
Question:	Mine arrived today but no plastic shelving connectors...how can I get them? are they 3/4 inch or 1/2 inch
Answer:	I took a picture of the description but can’t post it. It definitely says 72” or 2 36” units (equals 72”) I certainly hope so because it’s what I need and am ordering. I don’t believe in false advertising.

Answer:	No I don't believe they will. Openings are about 17" wide.

Answer:	17.5" by 16" and do comfortably hold 18 gallon tubs.

Answer:	They hold the standard plastic tub, I think 32 gallon. It stands about eye level. I run a school with a costume department. We have these set up to hold a bunch of the standard tubs and it has made our life so much easier.

Answer:	Certainly, I used an angle grinder (rough cut) because my hack saw blade was shot. Certainly a bandsaw, hacksaw or similar will work fine. Either way I would suggest a wire brush to deburr the sharp edges.
Question:	My closet is more or less 6 feet wide, should i get the 4-6 model or the 5-8 model
Answer:	That's the same length as my closet. I bought the 4 to 6 version. It comes with i extra hanging bar and since my configuration is smaller it gave me more room to hang product. I have two sections of side hung tops over two sections of side hung bottoms and a single side hang for longer items (dress and coats, etc.).

Question:	Isnt this the exact same thing as the firewood rack kit except this kit gives you six plastic pieces instead of two
Answer:	YES! Absolutely. Not sure why people are saying otherwise, but your question seems to be, can I use just one vertical piece and connect shelves on either side of it. 100% yes. I did exactly that in order to save room. Thus, I only used 4 vertical pieces to set up 3 full sets of shelves, as the shelves can connect on either or both sides of the vertical pieces. It's crazy that they don't sell the shelves on a stand-alone basis for a more affordable price....but I guess they realized the obvious--if someone needs three sets of shelves, they would only buy two complete packages plus a couple extra stand-alone shelves and (by connecting them end-to-end), they would end up with three full shelves for a much lower price. I'm going to guess this "profit optimization" results in a lot of waste, since many people who connect their shelf sets will end up with extra pieces they have to throw away. I have two extra end pieces my self and no easy way to use them.

Answer:	Yes, the feet you see in the picture will move up and down by the workings of the screw thread. I have ever had any trouble with them being level (own 6 shelving units) but there is a good possibility to level the shelves if the floor base is for some reason not level; the screw thread is fairly long.

Secondly this product does not contain the connector pieces need to turn two 36' poles into one 72" pole. The connector pieces are not sold separately anywhere on amazon or from distributors, i've been researching for over a year.

Answer:	You do not have to stack them together.
Question:	Can you buy extra shelves
Answer:	My guess would be probably not. I contacted a different company to buy one extra shelve. They were very helpful but the cost of the supports and board for one shelf was more than the cost of a new 5 shelf unit.
Question:	If I just use bottom, top and middle shelf, is it still sturdy? how much weight can each shelf hold
Answer:	Each shelf can hold up to 250 lbs. And it will still sturdy if you just use bottom, top and middle shelf. Thanks.
