Answer:	We use this to transport clean items to our cottage and return home with soiled garments. If you're speaking of normal day to day soil or dirt then there are no concerns of transfer or contamination to clean items.If you're speaking of heavily soiled items, especially anything greasy or oily, I would imagine that it's possible that this could rub against clean clothes and mark them. If that's what you're speaking of, those types of articles should be transported in a plastic bag.For normal clothes and items, this works well, especially because the design allows for air flow to deter mildew if dealt with timely.

Answer:	That's less straight-forward a question that it may seem, since it depends on how small you want to make them. The hampers will fold into a flat rectangle for easy storage (takes 1-2 seconds and no physical effort at all), or you can twist them into a small circle. It isn't HARD to twist the hamper closed, but it does take practice. I used to be able to do it with out even thinking about it (with the hampers like this that I bought for camping years ago), but I don't remember how anymore. Flat rectangle: so easy your dog could probably do it.

Answer:	Absolutely! Not like other mesh hampers in larger sizes where the mesh is very large and undermines the stability of the hamper

Answer:	You would have to run it on delicate but I don't think that it would stand up to the dryer. I would be careful on what else you put in the load with it as well as the mesh on the side seems like it would separate with too much pull against it.

Answer:	The only ones I have seen are Frozen, Harry Potter etc. The are not that much smaller.

Answer:	I would say no. one laundry is about 2/3 of the hamper and I would not put more or the handles would break

Answer:	It is solid fabric! In my opinion this helps enormously since mesh would be more likely to rip when getting in contact with something sharp on the floor.

Answer:	It's very thin material that hangs together on a framework that stays open unless it's pressed down. So it'd be impossible to wash in a machine, I think, and hard to hand wash.The material is mostly thin netting, though, except for on the bottom and around the sides of the top. I clean mine easily with a few Clorox wipes.

Answer:	You could spot-clean by hand. It has metal encased in edging to hold the shape so it should be hand-washed only. This Smart Design Deluxe model has wide handles which are very comfortable when carrying large loads of laundry. I use this white one for clean clothes only. Smart Design Deluxe has a smaller square model in blue mesh which I use for dirty clothes. These are the best laundry baskets out there...Sturdy and wide, comfortable handles.

Answer:	The circular side of the hamper is made of a fairly wide mesh. While you likely *could* do so, you'd at least have to use a pretty wide marker. Otherwise, it's a pretty clever solution. Good luck!

Question:	Would a king sized down comforter fit in here
Answer:	Possibly. My double size does, just. But you can probably compress a king sufficiently to take it to the laundry. For regular storage it would be a nuisance, I think.
Question:	How do you clean this? can it be thrown into washer
Answer:	I don't think it can be thrown into the washer. It's too stiff. It can be spot cleaned. The hamper is a fantastic laundry holder for a great price. The 2 pockets are so helpful, too.
Question:	Is the bottom solid or mesh
Answer:	The bottom is solid. The sides are mesh.
Question:	How does one fold hamper to fit back into small pocket
Answer:	I have 2 of these and love them to stick in my suitcase (because it folds absolutely flat) to travel and to haul laundry from my hamper to the laundry room! But I have no idea how to get it twisted down to the small round size it's received in! If you figure it out, you should give lessons!
