Answer:	No. Parts of it are, like the two swing arms at the top will fold inwards, and each of the flat-drying shelves can be dropped into the down position, however, the overall height, base, and the central vertical poles all remain as is and do not collapse. Having the ability to fold-in those parts makes it easier to store in narrow areas, but you still need the height of the unit to fit.

Answer:	It has a list of parts. It uses numbers to differentiate the pieces, but it takes some time to figure out how it goes together. Once my husband figured out how to do it, he was able to continue with the assembly. If you do not have patience to put this thing together, don't bother with it. Answer:	I don’t think so. The bar in between is chrome. I don’t know what the brackets on the wall are made of., but they haven’t rusted yet.

Answer:	not quire understanding your question..but the solo hanger is one triangle. The bottom bar is where you hang garments. I had problems with the template they include, so if you do get this, make sure the recommended holes on the template really match actual measurements. The two racks with rod has worked out really well for the space I have.I can hang across the front or on the side, so it is a real help in the laundry room.
