Answer:	I believe it's plastic-coated wire. I don't know the workload offhand, it's been up for a few years, and hasn't let me down yet. I hang ALL my laundry on it all winter near the woodstove, except really heavy items like rugs or husband's heavy work coat.

Answer:	Yes it will work for drawstrings very nicely. It is the right diameter, good strength and does not fray. I use it for many different kinds of craft and sewing projects.
Question:	how much weight can it hold
Answer:	I don't know how many pounds it can hold BUT I do know it easily holds my weight - 135 lbs - because I tried it with my hammock. It didn't even guess before I used it - because my hammock is a Central American hammock that I slung close to the ground. I don't calculate the weight by dividing it up between the two ends - because I didn't cut the rope but strung it through metal eyes attached to two strong poles and across the top (can you picture that?). Then I used the rope as clothesline strung back and forth the same way. Best of all, the clothesline DOES hold a lot of weight and does not stretch. It holds up well even if soaked with rain and even if left outside in the sun and rain for months - like my rope.

Question:	Can it be folded down like an umbrella each time after done with drying
Answer:	yes, it folds smoothly and easily even after being outside in the weather.
Question:	How do you install the pole into the ground? With cement
Answer:	We installed ours straight into the dirt. Our dirt is somewhat softer, not clay. We placed a piece of wood over the top and pounded into dirt. It is working fine and seems stable enough. As for strong wind, I can't really remark on as I placed this in a location where somewhat sheltered by the house ( cabin) But, since it is a rotary dryer, wouldn't it just spin if hit by strong wind? On another related note, at my main house our soil is much denser and I have installed a PVC sheath into ground for a thick Tetherball pole, no cement, and that also has not moved even with the hitting and swinging forces on the ball/pole. I hope this comparison Helps.
Question:	Is this durable
Answer:	This is pretty durable and they have a great warranty with fantastic customer service! Mine had an issue with the arms collapsing after having it 3 yrs. They promptly sent me a new one. I love my clothesline and I have a family of 4 and a plethora of laundry. My only complaint is with the lines. With my old one, you have to be careful how you take the clothes off the line or you can end up pulling the line through the hole as they are all strung separately. It seems that the new one they sent me has a little bit different design on the anchor point. However, I am still careful with them because of my past experience.
Question:	Does all weather mean it will dry clothes in the rain
Answer:	No, because in rain your clothes are bound to get subjected by the natural elements. In rain, your clothes are bound to get wet and will not dry like you hope. Unless you plan to hold an umbrella to have your clothes dry but it would be pointless.

Question:	Is this string enough to hang towels from
Answer:	A few yes, but I don't think it will hold many. And although it works for me just fine, the things hanging on it, do slide to the middle and I can't find a way to fix that.
Question:	how wide is this box? Can I mount it on a 4" pole
Answer:	Absolutely. The bigger box that holds the retractable part is 3 1/4" wide and the smaller one that holds the end of the line is 2" wide. I really like this product and wish I had known about it earlier. The wire clothesline is firm and doesn't sag when you put things on it, unlike those cheaper string lines. I have it installed in my laundry room high enough to reach, but not low enough to get in the way and it's really useful.
Question:	It shows a glue installation, but I see someone responding saying you needed to find a stud. Does the glue installation not work
Answer:	I don't know if the glue works or not. I wanted the strength and peace of mind that come with attaching to a stud. And this retractable clothes line is the best ever. Strong, doesn't sag, easy to use. Love it.

Answer:	It does fold. The top rack lifts up and allows the rack to collapse. I think the customers who say it doesn’t fold up don’t realize that one side of the top rack has clamps that open.

Question:	Hi folks -- I cannot tell if this product is ok for use on wood/laminate floors. Do the legs have rubber pads on the bottom
Answer:	There are no rubber pads on the bottom, but the plastic is smooth on the bottom (not rough). I don't ever drag it across the wood floors. I fold the arms and legs and carry it to the laundry room for storage after each use, so I haven't seen any damage to the floors.

Answer:	Pretty certain it was 3/16". Although, I would recommend replacing the provided hardware with a molly bolt or a 25-50lb. E-Z anchor. The style of anchor it comes with is a plastic resistance sleeve. Which is the weakest type of drywall anchor. If you live in an apartment, or a place with older drywall, I wouldn't trust it.
