Answer:	Yes, it does. The description is accurate (allows access and compact storage of 4 bikes). I personally bought, separately, 2 more rails to hang two more bikes (for a total of up to 6 bikes) or simply hold more stuff. For example, I have a narrow car roof cargo box (from Thule) and I use the hooks to hold short chains and simply slide the cargo box over them. Work great in all cases and configurations.

Answer:	The tracks screw tight to the ceiling surface or joist. The sliding bars are probably 1.5" lower at the most. They are very close to the track.

They seem a bit too lightweight to me. In addition......depending on a ring clamp not to bend from the weight...... A bit risky. Answer:	Take one of the long screws and screw on the piece with the hinge. You will need to make a hole in the ceiling the size of the hinged piece end when closed. You push the hinge part into the hole end side first. Holding on to the screw end, allowing the hinged piece to get into the hole far enough to open like an umbrella. Pull Down on the screwed end and screw on the hook. While pulling down the hinged part will hold on to the ceiling (inside) to allow you to tighten the screw. Pictures would help, but don't have any with me.

Answer:	I would think you just unscrew the white hook part. And depending on which hardware you use either push it through ceiling and calk the hole or remove the screw and patch the hole. I hope this helps.
