Answer:	I've had a HEAVY full length mirror on the back of my closet door for 5 years now. It does have 2 light hooks that go over the top of the door to hold most of the weight but everytime I opened the door it would swing away from the door so I put 6 sets of large command strips to attach it to the door....problem solved! I put 1 set in each corner and then 1 in the middle on each side. After I was done and it was all held in place I stepped back and I realized it was somehow raised up so the hooks were NOT holding the weight! Lol they were doing nothing and the mirror held strongly in place!! Haha😊 If It hadn't stopped me from closing my closet door I could have left it lol but I'd use atleast 6 sets if the mirror is heavier than your typical cheap full length mirror. Question:	CAN I USE ON TEXTURED WALLS
Answer:	I haven't tried this particular product, but I assume it would be the same. The trick with textured walls is to stick the wall side first, making sure to push down into all the grooves for a good stick, Then unpeel the other side. I didn't do this before and everything I hung would all come down within hours sometimes days, but not anymore with this technique!

Answer:	The package says 5 pounds but don't believe it. I bought one to hang up sweatshirt but it just kept falling down. With Command hooks, your best bet is to read the packaging and find the one that says it will handle the weight you want it to, and then go up a size. For a jacket, use the industrial one that says it can hold ladders.

Answer:	The entire width, from back of hook to front of hook is 1 3/8 inch.....but the opening is only 13/16 inch. I needed them for a 1 inch dowel and thought it would fit per the measurements listed but it doesn’t. Just FYI.

Answer:	Most Command products have black printing that tells you which side should be used on the wall. They sometimes use colors other than red for printing on the liner that covers the adhesive you peel to attach the strip to the product. Whether red, blue or some other color - the side opposite the marked wall side is the one to adhere to the product.

Answer:	Approx. 3.75" long and 3/8" wide. You can cut the strip if it is too long for your needs.

Answer:	Hi Courtney, The plaque part of the hook is a little under 4" in height and a little over 1" in width. The hook itself is a little under 3". So it would seem that the other dimensions are for the pkg. The price is good in comparison to the Container Store. I was tired of reaching for a towel from the shower - so it is placed on a tile border for easier access. It is not designated for wet areas, but is holding up in the humid conditions. It is used to hold a very heavy towel - sometimes 2. I believe it is plastic, but is passable for brushed stainless steel - which goes nicely in my contemporary bath. Hope this is all helpful! Connie

Answer:	I would say that depends on the surface you are applying the strips on. I used 1 strip to use on a shower radio on slate shower tile and it didn't stick to the slate. I used a different strip in the shower door and it held the 5lb radio just fine.

Answer:	Honestly, it depends on how heavy the canvas weighs. If it is your typical canvas painting, then you should have no problem! I used these for my 3 (3x2) canvas paintings. The canvas paper covered part of the wood and I placed the strips along the paper. I positioned them high above the couches and they haven't fallen or moved in over 2 years. Hope this helps!

Question:	why do the Command Strips, when removed, pull the paint & sheetrock off the wall
Answer:	You can't just pull it off, even if you pull it in the right direction. You have to apply pressure against the strip (against the wall) so it doesn't tear off the wall, then pull the tab end in line with the strip so the strip stretches out. As it stretches, it loses adhesion, and just comes off. By the time the stretch gets to the opposite end it just falls off when you release pressure. But if you don't apply pressure while you pull it, you'll quite likely shear off paint and parts of wall if they're weak.

Answer:	Command Decorating Clips will work when hanging from the ceiling. The ceiling will need to be a clean and smooth surface. After placing the hooks wait one-hour before hanging your lights.

Answer:	I have used the larger ones on the outside of my camper and they held up for me. I only used them to hold average power cords draped along outside and dish towels, nothing heavy duty. Make sure the surface is clean and dry before applying and let them set as per directions before using them. As another user stated, these particular ones are very tiny so make sure to get ones for the job you need them for. Good luck.

Answer:	this is very small - barely holds the light cable, i tried to secure by pushing cable in and one of them broke. it will not hold cat5 cable. i used to hold Christmas wrapping ribbons - created a loop at each corner. I recommend the larger hooks for holding Christmas lights etc. as far as cat5 cables, i would look for completely different options.

Answer:	II used them to hang my LED lights outside for Christmas around windows and awnings. Worked great as long as string or rope isn't too thick. You must follow directions exactly for them to work. Yes, they work ! I live in Michigan, so yes they held up in the cold and snow. It takes time to put them up as you have to hold each one in place for 30 sec and not put anything on them for 1 hr, so start ahead of time. I love them ! They are still there, end of Jan., -25 degrees and 2 ft of snow.
