Answer:	No, it is not. I specifically wanted it to store patio cushions in the garage, but wanted a sealed container that would keep spiders out. I was disappointed to find a 1/2"-wide strip of mesh below the zipper, on three sides. I had not noticed this mesh in the photo on the box when I bought it. You have to really look closely, and although the box points out other features (such as the zipper), it mentions nothing about the mesh. The mesh is definitely "open" enough that bugs could get in. HOWEVER, that said, it is a nice, sturdy, semi-clear plastic container with handles on the side. I will probably use it to store things INSIDE the house.
