Answer:	I've used it with the Rubbermaid Configurations adjustable closet system and it fits perfectly. There is a trick to attaching the front hook by holding the rack at an angle to get the hook in place before attaching the back hook. It's much nicer in person and much more useful than I expected so I've just ordered two more.
Question:	What is the difference between new and original
Answer:	When I bought ours in early April 2020 there was no New and Original, just the one item. New and Original look identical. I would order the one at the cheaper price. Incidentally, the price back in April was $10.78 which is more in line with what is now called New. Great product by the way. I use mine to hold belts.

Answer:	This comes with 2 metal j hook bolts, wing nuts, washers and plastic grommets. If you saved those you just hook the bolts onto the wire rack and lift the unit up so the bolts slide into the holes in the housing on either side of the rack. Put the nuts on and tighten up.

Answer:	I have not experienced it draining the batteries. Your issue may be the batteries you are using.

Answer:	If you are attaching the organizer on the pole like in the picture, the top and bottom pieces come apart. You do not have to remove the pole to attach this device. Likewise if you have to hand it using the supplied hooks, you do not have to move the pole or racks in your closet.
Question:	my closet's rod is much thicker than a standard size - up to what diameter can this be used
Answer:	The round hole for the rod is 1 and 3/8ths inches in diameter.
Question:	How long do the batteries last for assuming daily use
Answer:	I think there is a problem with many of these units. Mine worked fine but, for some reason, there is always a battery drain on the unit, resulting in the batteries not lasting more than a week or so. I tried to return the unit but it was after the Amazon 30-day warranty period, so I'm stuck with it. I wrote directly to the company but no answer (I'm not surprised). I cannot recommend this unit, and would strongly suggest that either a different unit is purchased, or keep a CLOSE eye on the battery drainage issue and return within the 30-days allowed by Amazon.

Answer:	There is a compartment for batteries.

Answer:	I don't think it will fit nicely. The unit is specifically designed for a round rod. You unscrew it and the two pieces clamp around the rod. With a wire rack system you may not be able to get the two pieces close enough to re-screw the unit together.
Question:	Does it have a jack for plugging in a power transformer in place of batteries
Answer:	No, it is only battery powered.
Question:	Do I have to take the closet rod off to slip the tie rack on, or does it bolt around the rod
Answer:	No, you leave the closet rod in place and the tie rack has two pieces, one above and one below the rod that screw together.

Question:	How long are the hooks, please, and how far apart from hook to hook? Thank you
Answer:	When perpendicular to the wood, the hooks are one inch apart and are two and three/eights of an inch in length. They all fold in (with ties on them) to conserve space. I am very happy with mine.
Question:	With the way you have to put it together, has anyone had any problems with the metal parts coming out and falling to the floor
Answer:	It comes assembled. No issues with anything falling out.
Question:	Anyone have trouble with the anti-slip grip being too close together? My ties do not slide under them and I'm finding it difficult to bend them
Answer:	I have not had a problem. The "grips" are too tight to bend up to get a tie under, but I push an edge of each tie into the grip part (which is not lifted at all) and that provides just enough friction to keep the ties from sliding off. Hope that is clear! Also, it you only have 12 ties or so, it is important to keep the ties spaced out evenly from front to back and on either side to keep the hanger level.

Answer:	The hanger I received is not quite as pictured - it is rectangular, and the pins may be spaced differently. On mine, each pin has a 'head' on it that is 3/32" wide so the holes of your spools have to be at east that big. From the edge of one head to the next head, (i.e., the open space between each pin) is 3/4". The pins are inserted a little less than one and a quarter inches apart; 1.2 to be exact.

Question:	My closet bar is square. Would this attach securely for that type of bar
Answer:	I'm not in my home now, but I think it work ok if the dimensions of your rod fit into the circular opening. There is large set screw that tightens on the rod and I think it should work on a square rod as well as on a circular one.
Question:	There is a shelf above our closet rod with not too much clearance. Will this work with a shelf above the rod
Answer:	I also have a shelf above the rod and it fits. You need about 1 1/2 inch clearance is all. I have only 1 1/2 inches and it fits with a 1/2 to spare. And the rack works great.
Question:	How much clearance is needed above the rod for the tie rack? I have a shelf above my closet rod which is about one and one quarter inch above
Answer:	all you need is just 1.3 Inches.
Question:	What purpose do the two holes on top serve
Answer:	The unit mounts on the bar in your closet, so the "holes" are where the bar passes through the tie rack.
