| Answer: | It depends more on trunk thickness than height. I've had trees up to 7' in this stand but last year I had a shorter tree but it had a fat trunk and I had to trim off some of the sides. The cup that you slide onto the trunk of the tree is about 5" in diameter and it is rounded at the bottom. I just put my tree up today and I have about a 7' Fraser Fir, the cup slid nicely onto the trunk but any thicker and I would have had to shave some off. |

Once I figured that out it was A LOT eaiser. |
