In an installation where the bulb is mounted upside down, it will look like the flames are shooting downward from the inverted socket toward the floor.

Answer:	All I know is that the base is smaller then a regular bulb that you use for lamps, etc. I ordered these because I couldn't find replacements anywhere in my town. They arrived fast and work great! There is also a bulb that has a smaller base I found in stores which didn't work. I bought my string of lights at Joann's a few years ago and these are what worked perfectly.

Answer:	I am not the vendor, however , what I have learned about aluminum wiring is that for large power cables there is a procedure which involves a grease, special receptacles, and a heavy clamping pressure. For lamp switches what I would do is to use crimp on terminals to provide the best clamping pressure on the wire. There might even be some terminals made specifically for this. Putting the wire directly under the screws would not be as positive a connection, and it might corrode over time. I am sure that the internet has some good answers.
