Answer:	My refrigerator was making ice but when i pushed the ice lever, there was no ice dispensed and no noises. When I opened the panel, saw rust on this switch so I replaced it and everything worked fine again. I suggest you open the panel and look at your switch to see if it looks corroded or rusty first.

Question:	how do you install this
Answer:	I also used a YouTube video to install this. It was a bit tedious, but overall not bad if you follow the video. Be careful not to cut yourself on the stainless steel edge when removing the molding - recommend wearing gloves if possible. Also, I was unable to find the thermal epoxy for sealing the opening where the tube is located, however I found that the heater performed as required even without it. Still recommend to use the epoxy if you can find it but if you have trouble finding it, don't sweat it too much.
Question:	Did this fix your problem if the water line is frozen inside the door? (not just at the water dispenser) I was told by a repair man that he did not think this product would help with a frozen water line throughout the door. My water line doesn't appear to be frozen in the dispenser area, but it is further down inside
Answer:	Update: After trying this part for five months, I am going to say no. The resistance wire inside doesn't even go past halfway, and relies upon the foil insulation to carry the heat all around. Not convinced. Anyway, I bought a 1/2 inch thick piece of styrofoam from Michael's (arts/craft store) for $3.99 and cut it as @papajuan did minus the white vinyl sheet. Seems to be okay now. The temperature of the water coming out seems slightly warmer, and it seems to only need a little help in keeping from freezing.It may if the freeze is near the dispenser but if it were in the bottom third of the door, for example, I can't see that it would do any good.

Answer:	This bulb is a piece of junk, I purchased two knowing that they had a short reported life, I figured I'd probably get 6 months of light usage (vs. over a year for 120 volt versions). The first one lasted less than one month, and was OFF most of the time (this is for a refrigerator in my Summer house, only used on weekends). I justed ordered a 12-volt LED from a seller on eBay who has them in warm white and cool white. Just Google WR02X12208 and you'll find them, hope they last a LOT longer than this piece of junk. FOLLOW UP: Don't order from the guy on eBay (baconcc), the lamp that he claims is a replacement for WR02X12208 is 2X longer and 3X wider and will not fit!

I would guess that this particular switch has different applications for many GE models using a momentary-contact switch but, as to a specific application, you need to find the appliance on GE's website and look at the parts list and schematic diagram to determine whether this switch will work in your particular situation or whether you need to order a different part. Also keep in mind that this switch may have been replaced by a newer switch with a different configuration or part number. Hope this helps!
Question:	Will this work as a substitute for a Frigidaire 5304421616 light bulb? The Frigidaire light bulb illuminates the dispensers during normal use
Answer:	I don't think so. The s witch's function is to supply electricity to whatever function is indicated by the panel light: water, ice cubes, or crushed ice. If the switch were stuck "on," you'd have a steady flow of water, not drips. I assume the water drips regardless of which light is on, so the problem is in the seal in the water valve not allowing it to shut off completely. The valve (a solonoid, I believe) needs to be replaced.
