Answer:	I'm pretty sure you can't cut it - because that would leak out the foam and liquid that are inside.You would have to look for a smaller one. There are even some hot compress medical-type packs that might work for you.

Answer:	No! They do have a blue one that is for freezing. I also saw one that you can do both. But, I like these because they are bigger and fit perfect in my thermal carrier.

Answer:	If I remember correctly, there is a size chart to help you decide. I normally wear medium shirts, I am 5'10", 180lbs and ordered mediums. They fit great.

Answer:	These packs that are half blue and half red can be used for both hot & cold. The Blue side has the instructions and precautions for freezing, and the red side has the instructions and precautions for heating.

Answer:	The packs instructions are for the freezer or microwave. I've only heated in a microwave. There is a specific instruction that the pack should not come in contact with hot surfaces which could rule out heating in a boiling pot of water. Good luck.

Answer:	Yes, should discard if damaged and leaking content. Have used these for years and the only problem is if you heat for too long and cause a leak or damage bag with something sharp. Just follow the directions. Good luck.

Answer:	Yes, I think it would work for that! I use mine to transport to tailgate. They are warm for over an hour, but I have them in a box with towels to hold the heat in.

Answer:	No. They would not keep your food hot enough for long enough to keep it safe. Also, this is designed for a 9 x 13" cassarole sized insulated container , most likely not the size of your lunch box. The insulaion keeps the food warm enough to be safe for short trips, say to a potluck.

Question:	Do they stay soft once activated
Answer:	Yes the more you manipulate them with your hands the Warmer they get and the softer they stay. They stay warm and soft for around 45min to an hour. Then all you do is boil them for around 5-10min to re-activate. I always set the timer so I don’t forget I have them boiling and I never boil too long that way the hot pack lasts longer without leaking.
Question:	Could I insert the warmers in a tote bag with a chair pad and sit on it
Answer:	Yes, but our 6"x9" heat pack (search Amazon for: b01iqntufi) would probably be better suited for that purpose .
Question:	I can not melt the crystals, it gets soft but then it gets hard again
Answer:	Once soft ( with heat sensation) they don't last long.
Question:	Are these less then 3 oz of gel to take on a plane
Answer:	Neither is marked, however (1) the round version weighs 4.2 oz, and, (2) the rectangle weighs 3.5 oz. So I would say no.

Answer:	It is true to the color in the photo, a light brown or “kraft brown”

Answer:	No! there is a second layer inside the bag. You can even use it with an air tigh machine. I bet liquids will be fine... Still in appareance maybe not so good. Hope this helps.

Answer:	A flat iron hair straightener works very well, both flat edges heat up, and most people have one. If you use it, it only takes a 1 second or less to seal, once the straightener is heated up. If you hold it on too long, the bag's coating can melt onto the straightener and leave a film, which does clean off.

Answer:	Sorry, do not know the exact temperature but they freeze like any cold pack. They stay frozen for a considerable amount of time. We have already used on a sore shoulder and they are very soothing.
