Answer:	You may be able to find them at Costco for less, but right now they are not listed on Costco's web site and have not been in stores for quite some time. If you can find a store that has them in stock, buy them. I want to say they were $30 the last time I saw them in a store. You can get them for $38 on Amazon with no shipping (Prime), so I don't know if it's worth it to drive all over town looking for them in stores. I just ordered a new set through Amazon. They are great poles and still a great deal even at $40.

If your pole shortens while doing this then you need to readjust the height and tighten the lock more.

Step 1. Open Tab and Adjust

Fully open the quick lock tab and adjust to desired height.

Step 2. Tighten Thumbscrew

Tighten Thumbscrew by turning it 1/4" to 1/2" turns clockwise.

Step 3. Close Quick Lock Tab

Quick Lock Tab should be difficult to close when properly tightened.

Step 4. Test and Readjust

Apply weight to the pole. If pole begins to collapse, repeat steps 1-3 until it remains at desired height.

Answer:	Hi Jennifer, trekking poles can indeed be used by kids! We do have customers who have purchased our poles for their kids and who've found that the poles truly help their kids especially on uphill or uneven terrain. Now, for choosing the right trekking pole for them, there are several factors you need to consider. First is the height - you can measure the length between your child's elbow to the ground and if they are at least 24.5 inches, then our poles should be suitable for their height. Other factors to consider are weight and the size of the grip - and these two really depend on your kids' strength and hand size. There are poles that are specifically made for kids with a lighter weight and smaller grip and these might be more suitable especially for your 5-year old. The disadvantage of it is that kids can outgrow those poles quite quickly due to limited length adjustability (they are shorter, which makes them lighter). Our poles should not be a problem for your 7 and 10 year old, but might be a bit on the heavy side for your 5-year old (each pole is 9.7 ounces which is roughly the weight of 5 tennis balls), but on the plus side, it will also grow with your child and will last him a long time. Answer:	Yes, in fact it would be good to have these if you're going through rivers - they'll save you from accidental slips especially if the rocks are a bit slippery, and you can also use them to gauge and test the ground (or riverbed) that you're about to step on. We'd recommend giving the poles a thorough drying afterwards though by taking them apart and patting dry or air drying. As with all things metal, rust is an enemy and drying the poles will help prevent that.

Answer:	It's 24.5 inches short when collapsed. However if that still won't fit your suitcase, you can disassemble it and the length will go down to 21 inches. It'll be very easy to put it back together if you disassemble it.

Answer:	Well, the trekking poles don’t double as rifles.....altho they assemble fairly quietly, I would do that prior to going out. The wrist loops are nice but even if you use only one (as I did for my last hike), it’s not short enough to keep it from dragging on the ground. Basically, the pole will only be as quiet as whatever is underfoot and wherever you place it. Also comes with several different tips (which might help in softening any sounds.
Question:	Is the grip prone to blistering your hands
Answer:	I wouldn't think so because grips are cork. Provides a form-fit comfortable grip plus soaks up sweat. As long as you maintain a tight grip I believe you'll avoid blisters.

Answer:	Foxelli Customer Support is correct: tips push on and baskets screw on. Additionally, the basket internal diameter is 5/8 inches (16 mm), so 1/2 inch ID baskets probably won’t fit without cracking the plastic.

Question:	Anyone had a problem with the locking mechanism coming loose so the pole collapses while walking? I have different brand with that problem
Answer:	Yes. I'm not sure what these others are talking about but the Revis no locking mechanism on the sections of these poles. They just loosely slide together, and are in constant danger of sliding apart again in use.

Answer:	These poles are made for hiking and Nordic walking, They are strong and sturdy but it hasn't been tried out by us for skiing.

Answer:	Thanks for the question! I think either option would work well for you. If you go with the 100 cm version, it can extend up to 120 cm, so it will provide you some additional length if you want to extend it on downhills for extra support. You can also keep the 115 cm length and grip the top of the handle. That is typically what I do since it is faster than continuously adjusting the length.On the flip side, if you go with the 120 cm version, it is 115 cm at the lowest setting. Therefore, you would not be able to shorten the pole any further. On uphills, it is sometimes helpful to shorten the pole to get better leverage. However, you can also shift your grip to the EVA foam portion below the handle and use that instead.It really comes down to your preference on the methods that I mentioned above. If you think that you'll just keep the length to 115 cm at all times and adjust your grip for uphills/downhills, then I would go with the 100 cm version. It is also slightly lighter than the 120 cm version.Sorry for the long winded answer.
