Answer:	Yes, you do need to take the screws out to change the blade. There are two small philips screws, and the whole blade swap could probably be done in under a minute

Answer:	No, there is a strong magnet that keeps the blade out or in. However, stabbing with this will not prevent the blade from going back into the handle. This is a nicely made but poorly engineered tool. The design is all there for this to have a locking mecinism with the spring loaded sliding lever but it seems they either got stumped or ran out of funds and went with the magnet. When I first bought it I was disappointed by the retraction mechanism but as that it stays in place for carry and use (but for stabbing poking) it has proven very helpful and useful. I find I don’t have to deploy my carry knife for small cutting or detailed cutting jobs. The handle is nicely anodized aluminum and the screws are cleanly machined. So for 20.00 I think it was worth it to me. For more than that unsure. I am a LE tactical knife instructor trainer and tactical FA instructor trainer. Answer:	yes you can, but I haven't done that often. I was concerned that the gasket could get too loose to stay in place.

Answer:	They are very similar. Have the same capacity and work the same way. The shapes are a bit different - the foogo is a little bit taller, top is thicker, gasket is thicker bottom and top are rubberized plastic that doesn't slip. The inside is smooth stainless steel. The funtainer top and bottom are plastic and slippery, and you can see inside where it's been welded. Other than that the difference is in the characters/colors you get. The Foogo seems better build and better quality - unless you really want the specific characters that the Funtainer comes with, I'd go with the Foogo if prices are similar, or even if Foogo is a little more expensive. Haven't tested performance exactly but seems similar.

You push the slide forward to protrude the blade point, and you need to hold the slide button in the forward position with your finger tip to keep the blade from retracting when you apply pressure to the blade point. The knife is best suited for opening letters, boxes, cutting craft paper, hobby work, etc.

We do understand that it’s not always possible to keep Florastor® in room temperature, and we have data showing the living cells in Florastor® products are stable at low temperatures of -25°C or -13°F, and up to high temperatures of 40°C or 104°F.
