Answer:	Hmmm....great question! There is a bottom support that is detachable and fits into the bottom of the bin. If you stack them on their side the bottom support helps the bin keep its shape but once you put things inside they would start to sag on the side (which would be the bottom if you stacked them that way).

Answer:	If the side of your tub is no higher than 19", you can set 1/2 of the rack into the tub, but the rest will be outside the tub. I can't get the whole thing into my tub. But then, what I hang on it is not usually dripping wet; it comes out of my washing machine. I'd put a towel down for drippers; the middle flat rack could be the perfect place for the drip-catching towel, and then when the drippy things are not dripping anymore, you could move them over to the other bars!
