Answer:	The container easily holds the 18.5lbs of cat food I purchase with a bit of room for my scoops. The front/lid latch side is 10-1/4"wide x15-3/4"deep(sides)x19-1/4" high (including the top of lid & with the wheels). Without the wheels it is 17-3/4"high. Wheels are sturdy, roll & turn easily. The sides of container are opaque & a front latch side strip4-1/" wide & running the height of container is clear= easy to see how much food is left in the container. The interior lid is lined all the way around with a white flexible seal & keeps the cat food fresh. My cats do not like or eat stale food (neither do I) & I have been battling trying to seal the large/small store bags of cat food for years to no avail. My cats are now eating down to the last nibble in this container. I am very happy with this IRIS container!

Answer:	I put about 44 pounds in the 67 quart bin, with about 3 1/2" left at the top. So, I would guess you could get 50 pounds in the 67 quart size. The kibble I use is a smaller size: Kirkland Healthy Weight. I put the full 40 pounds into the bin, then stirred about 4 pounds of Science Diet into the top few inches, as I'm changing my dog's food. this left plenty of room for the measuring cup I use to sit on top of the food in the bin. I love this bin! Just the right size and I love that I can wheel it around, and that it's not ugly to have in my kitchen.

Answer:	This canister has the same dimensions as other coffee canisters that are marketed as able to hold 1 pound of coffee beans. My 1 pound coffee canister is labeled 1.85 liters which is the equivalent of 62 ounces of water, exactly the same as this canister.

BPA is found in polycarbonate plastic food containers often marked on the bottom with the letters “PC” by the recycling label #7. Some polycarbonate water bottles are marketed as ‘non-leaching’ for minimizing plastic taste or odor, however there is still a possibility that trace amounts of BPA will migrate from these containers, particularly if used to heat liquids.A new generation of compostable plastics, made from bio-based polymers like corn starch, is being developed to replace polycarbonates. These are also included in category #7, which can be confusing to the consumer. These compostable plastics have the initials “PLA” on the bottom near the recycling symbol. Some may also say “Compostable.”#7 plastics are not for reuse, unless they have the PLA compostable coding. When possible it is best to avoid #7 plastics, especially for children’s food. Answer:	My relative, who works in manufacturing of similar items, has told me that the airtight silicone seals are meant to stay in place. Apparently, higher temperatures can affect the effectiveness, and the silicone ring may start falling out of place.
