Answer:	Metal, no non-slip covering. I don't use it as a base for the Keurig.

It will probably never dry with the sponge. If I just slightly dampen hair it comes out great. I need to put it in a ponytail first because it’s tricky/slippery to work with.

Question:	Is it possible to customize the size of this foam insert? For instance, to easily cut off two rows for especially sinny drawers
Answer:	Most likely yes. The foam seems soft enough to cut. It is about 2" think, so a saw or knife would work better than scissors.
Question:	It's just barely larger than the drawer it would go in. ie 1/4" or less, would i be able to squeeze it in or would i need to trim it off
Answer:	You would need to trim it but the problem is that it is designed so the edge of the k-cup is even with the edge of the pad. So if you trim it, it will fit in your drawer but then the k-cups on the end won't fit.

Answer:	I just looked at mine, and they all appear to be the same depth. With pods in all the holes, they all appear to be the same height. I can't say enough good things about this unit. We used to have the under counter rack, but this is so much nicer, holds more, and we couldn't be happier (unless the price was lower).

Answer:	Yes, you can stack, but for me they work better side by side so can have teakettle on top along with brewer, or other extras.

Answer:	Yes, the drawer can come out completely.
Question:	Do you need to slide this out to refill machine
Answer:	Let me give you example. I'm 4"11 and my k-cup machine has the water holder on the back. All I do is pull the lid off and pour a bottle of water into the machine. I will say that if it is push back and there is stuff on both sides and is blocking your view of the water chamber then yes you might have to pull it out.
Question:	How do you sanitize this before using? Can you wipe it down with alcohol
Answer:	I used it to store jewelry, so did not sanitize. It was wrapped. But I think it would be fine to wipe it with cleaner and then water, as long as you dry it off right away.
