This can happen if the liner is placed on uncured paint, or if there was a clear coat applied over the paint. Unfortunately, the best way to remove this residue will be by sanding it off.

Answer:	We just put it in drawers and cupboards. In drawers it works fantastic. Cupboards for the most part it lies flat. The only issue we had is with small cupboards - it rolls up. However, after putting cans on it to hold it down, we think it could lie flat. So, we'll see after a week or so. I might use Gorilla Grip liner on those shelves in the future when the cupboard is about 8 inches across and 8 inches length. And we cut those from the end of the roll where it has been tightly curled for awhile. But we're pleased with the product. I don't know how it would move on open shelves. I think it would remain fairly steady.

Answer:	I'm really not 100% sure exactly what the material is, but it feels like some type of plastic. I used this product to line the drawers and shelves in the kitchen and I love it. It is clear, one side smooth and one side bumpy. We did whole kitchen bumpy side up, and then realized it says to install bumpy side down. We have changed a few, but we really like bumpy side up . If cut exact, it fits nicely, stays down and your dishes/silverware or other items do not move. I lined one shelf in my refrigerator and love it. I will be lining the others as soon as I can.
